Had it, LOVED it. The Micronauts was the only comic I bought for two years when I “quit” buying comics(I was dragged back in by Beta Ray Bill and Walt Simonson’s incredible run on Thor).

Imma say it: these books were HORRIBLE. Most NOTLD comics have been horrible, unreadable dreck. I absolutely LOVED the moody painted adaptation of the film, and a cool painted one issue sequel that followed. A case where “public domain” birthed abominations.

Loved that title and the shorty lived Fantastic Four 2099. Don’t know if it was Marvel f’ing up or poor fan reaction (maybe both), but that was a set of books that should’ve done well.

I have to hold my nose and stick with those sites. Too many of my old friends would likely never migrate, and as you said, Bluesky isn’t quite there yet, though I DO love the fact you can easily post any size image here without it being cropped, which happens on Insta to me all the time.
