Yes I’ll admit it All of us from the main political parties are running a bit scared of Reform. Whatever you say about them, voters recognise that Reform NEVER flip flop, NEVER perform U Turns, NEVER stray from their strongly held beliefs. They are at least to be admired for this!

I no longer want to hear about corruption in Russia, China, Iran, North Korea or Venezuela, England is the cradle of corruption. London or one of the country’s overseas colonies is where the world launders its illicit money. This country wrote the guidelines on corruption, then sold it to the world.

Nigel Farage paid £40,000 by a firm that helps super rich dodgers rob Britain of tax revenues. Farage is a traitor. Fight Fascism- #Vote4Democracy in the local elections. #PATH People Against Tax Havens www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Paddling the Severn with @HelenMorganLibDem.bsky.social, I was strictly told not to fall in. After what water companies have been dumping here, I didn't need convincing! Ofwat is failing badly. We need a tough new Clean Water Authority that actually holds the water companies to account.

Nigel Farage lands tenth job as a commentator on Australian Sky. He's now earning an estimated £900,000 on top of his MPs salary www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Michael Gove used to ban teachers from their profession for life for drug use. He got caught taking cocaine and a few years later he's getting a peerage? It's as clear as day that drug laws are just there to punish the working class.

Prediction: Today (4/9/25) registered the greatest ill gotten gains from insider trading in history.

The White House. The actual White House. This is the attitude of every abuser, who is now fearful of the consequences of their abuse.

We didn’t not buy American cars out of spite or ingratitude. No, we didn’t buy them because they’re expensive to run, ugly, flimsy and huge. But now we are adding spite to that list 👍

There is a strong impulse to sanitise Trump’s mania (just listen to #r4today contortions) but it’s clear that the US is no longer UK’s ally: this is no relationship of common goals. We need to find allies who understand the meaning of the word. 🇪🇺 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

FT: This funding announcement from Rachel Reeves is for a lower amount than the average spent by the Tories over the last five years. Incredible that they think we are all such credulous fools. #r4today #HousingCrisis

Last year we showed how more than 60% of the donations accepted by Streeting were from companies and individuals with links to private health. He has since bagged a further £58,000 from private health care interests. goodlawproject.org/health-secre...

Keir Starmer, "My priority — my only priority — is the people of Britain, and what makes them better off" So why is Labour keeping the UK outside of EU Single Market?

I mean could you get more out of touch…or immoral….. we should put more tax on those that have the least, for fear that those with the most will leave the country if we ask them to pay a fair share…?

20% of the 4.9m UK registered companies may have submitted false information. Many involved in financial crimes. 234 penalties issued since last October, totalling £58,500. Just £1,250 collected. Companies House has long been ineffective, facilitating fraud, money laundering.

“That quitting the single market and customs union of our country’s largest trading partner inflicts damage considerably worse than the US hit should be screamed from the rooftops, not ignored” www.mirror.co.uk/news/kevin-m...

Please share!!! This is getting ridiculous—they just can’t accept a loss. Please help spread the word to North Carolina. The North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled in a 2-1 decision that over 60,000 votes cast in last year’s closely contested state Supreme Court race must be verified and recounted.

Paul Nowak General Secretary @tuc.org.uk 👏

About time we claimed our star back and if Labour wont we’ll vote for a party that will. @stellacreasy.bsky.social @labourlewis.bsky.social @labour4europe.bsky.social

Just got my hands on the very first official copy. I can’t really believe it’s real. It’s out in 35 days time. You can pre-order one here. Every penny goes to the dogs… lnk.to/TinaTheDogWh...

For 140 days United Utilities dumped sewage illegally in Lake Windermere last year. The company has criminal convictions, violates its licence terms but allowed to operate illegally. Puny fines don't deter. Customers fleeced. Nothing will change until profit motive is ended.

This would be replicated across the country, so what’s the hold up?

OK I'm not going to say anything about Justin Welby & what's led to this however the headline doesn't not reflect the interview & is completely out of context. He actually said "it is not my place to forgive him" (I'm paraphrasing). Kuenssberg pushed him on it www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting accepted £53,000 from private health recruiter pre-NHS job cuts Despite Streeting claiming that recruiters were ripping-off the NHS. Donors invest, return is govt contracts. Must criminalise receipt/payment of political donations. archive.ph/KMpLk

You think the arbitrary arrest of political dissenters cannot happen in the UK? It already does. www.quaker.org.uk/news-and-eve...

We took over the giant screen at Farage’s big rally in Birmingham

As water bills rise for millions in the next few days, watch @labourlewis.bsky.social introduce his Water Bill, raising the question: who should own our water? Watch the debate 👇 www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gIO... @compassoffice.bsky.social

To insult two highly respected and free thinking politicians like this is disgraceful. It just shows how far standards in society have fallen. Anyone reposting this insulting photograph should feel utterly ashamed. 😡

Mental health services in the UK are already a massively underfunded farce. Removing funding doesn't stop people needing the services, it does risk exacerbating the mental health issues they face, along with loss of life. Services need investment not cuts. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home...

The rich people don't pay tax because the Government lets them avoid it. "And it ends up being paid by you." #bbcqt

We should be shocked, humiliated and ashamed that 4.5 million children live in poverty in the UK and that Labour is planning to increase this number by conscious choice. Radical action is needed. No child deserves this. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/03...

A lot of people who are angry with Labour are going to sit out the local elections. That's just what Farage and the Brexit media want. If you're fed up with Labour then vote LibDems or Green. Don't help fascism by abstaining. We urgently need to burst Farage's bubble. #Vote4Democracy

open.substack.com/pub/heatherc... In forensic prose a historian lays out the facts of a scandal far worse than Watergate. Trump’s top officials spilled the most sensitive secrets of an operation, put military personnel at risk, then lied about it. And apart from one paper it’s not on UK front pages

Of course cutting support for disabled individuals won't "get more people into work" #r4today. PIP is not an out of work benefit, it helps many people access accommodations to be able to work. Cutting it stops them being able to. You cannot "grow the economy" by discarding disabled people.

In 2024 the Water Companies dumped sewage for 3.6m hours, nearly 500 years. In return they were allowed to raise their bills 20% or more this year. They should have all been shutdown and thrown in jail.

Just because it’s never been been done before doesn't mean it can’t be - I’ve heard this kind of naysaying so many times in my life of doing many things for the first time (green energy, electric cars, green football, diamonds from the sky…).

This makes me so very angry. Why are MPs worth more than vulnerable people?

Jeez. This is completely unacceptable and wholly indefensible

If "Adolescence" has scared the living bejesus out of you, I've rejigged my website with some new advice, and clips from interviews on subjects such as Andrew Tate, role-models, body positivity, and dads talking to boys about feeling good about themselves: tinyurl.com/5bubekb4

Ukraine was just knifed in the back. Essential reading on yesterday's deal open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

If, like me, you're not having a great mental health time at the moment, give yourself a pass. It's not just you. Everything sucks. It's natural to feel shitty when things are shit. You're not wrong for feeling that way. In fact if people aren't feeling the stress of the moment, it's weird. 😂

Chance of catching bosses who don't pay minimum wage? UK has 36.9m workers and only 1,490 labour market inspectors. Employers can expect a visit about once every five hundred years. Govt pushing deregulation. Abusive practices won't be checked. Deregulation emboldens bad bosses.

Kemi Badenoch accepted a £14,000 week-long "residential" for her family and shadow cabinet, courtesy of the chair of climate change denying lobbying group Net Zero Watch. Weeks later she announced that she has ditched her party's commitment to reaching Net Zero bylinetimes.com/2025/03/18/k...

Britons cutting back on spending. Not surprising. Real average wage unchanged since 2008, two child benefit cap, winter fuel payment cut, frozen tax thresholds, unchecked corporate profiteering. 1% has more wealth than 70% of the population combined. Must redistribute. End austerity.
