You’re great at creating conclusions & crafting narratives. Biden didn’t “end” anything. He allowed the CDC to conduct business as they saw fit. A lot of people thought that the pandemic was “over” when it wasnt. I never said they were right. I don’t hold him on a pedestal like MAGA does with DJT.

I acknowledge that he “said” it was over. But if you use your fundamentals of reading, I also say the CDC didn’t follow suit until later. Reading the whole paragraph is key to not missing context.

I asked for a cookie one time, doesn’t mean that I got it. We ask for things all the time that sometimes come true. It’s called shooting their shot. This doesn’t change the fact that WHO made the decision to call an to the pandemic.

Kara, the right to travel & migrate is a God given right. Just because this country put a law on the land they stole, doesn’t change the fact that they didn’t have the right to be here begin with.

Well Just Kara, everyone who lives in the US, minus the Native Americans are illegal. You & I included. If we don’t have to go back to where our ancestors are from then neither should they.

Yes, because Biden listened to licensed professionals who actually work in the field. He doesn’t throw fits and threathen tarrifs anytime he doesnt get his way.

5. If we are going to criticize the Biden administration, let’s do it with facts. “Fact Checking” might not be a thing you are used to, but I deal with facts on a daily basis. Your time is better learning and reading about what about, not “guestimating” how we got here.

3. The CDC decided in 2/22 to shift the metrics of hot zones to hospitals and healthcare systems. This gave more accurate reflection of the viruses impact on the community. 4. The Biden administration launched a national research action plan to study long covid on 4/22.

2. President Biden didn’t reduce the recommended isolation time, that recommendation arose from the CDC (12/2021) after public health practitioners and medical professionals all over the US had more evidence and understanding of the infectious periods.

1. Joe Biden did not end testing. As long as this virus had a test, I have been administering them to my patients (did 5 today actually). President Biden said in 9/22 that the pandemic was over, but WHO & HHS decided the public health emergency finished in 5/23.

I don’t think I missed the point. My response was we should be educating them. If we use terminology they may not understand than we need to educate and elevate them. All of our patients are smart and I believe its more important to teach them so they can understand instead of assuming they cant.

I’m sorry you are going through that. I empower you to make the difference. Voice your concerns, challenge their treatment plans, and advocate for yourself to be heard and seen.

We shouldn’t be focusing on the average adult. We should be patient focused. If our patients have questions, we should be encouraging them to question us. This is not a “walk by faith not by sight” profession. I encourage my patients to speak up and question/challenge me. Other providers should too.

I get where you are coming from. It’s up to us (the practitioners) to explain to our patients what the main take aways from their visits are and educate them. I think using jargon is okay especially if it encourages them to learn something new. It’s up to us to make that difference.

For them to have the time to implement these changes, we have to hold the corporations (hospitals, chain practices) accountable for getting them more time to serve their patient.

I understand that overall pts mental health and self images need to be preserved, but we have to have some understanding on what the Physicians are facing. High volume of pts, multiple overlap, low volume of time. They are writing there notes to justify their dx and moving on to the next.

I think depending on the context, it’s important to note how the pt showed up that day. (E.g. psych sxs/dx, routine PE, assault). Not as important if they are coming in for wound care or STI testing.
