Apart from Zelenskyy. How he didn't punch the pair of them is beyond me. Huge respect to Zelenskyy - an absolute icon. The definition of bravery.

Absolutely it should not. Cancel the fucking charade right now.
Poor Penny. Getting it wrong. She's so going to regret this.

Agree. Unbelievably depressing atm.
But I believe absolutely that the bullies don't win. Not really. They'll have shit lives. No love and no joy. Sounds trite but looking at Trump et al, I'd prefer to be bullied and survive to being them any day.

Because he's now the PM and in possibly the most challenging times in 60yrs. I'd prefer him at this point than almost anyone. Who do you think would be better at leading in this critical moment?

Let's see. I have faith that the seemingly strong, able lawyer will do the right thing.

We should not have or expect a knee jerk reaction. But our Government must condemn the WH behaviour wholeheartedly within 48yrs.

Hard agree.
Really hope the UK Govt has the balls to do what absolutely has to be done. Not sure we can ever bear the shame of being associated with Trump.

Incredible. How he didn't twat them both is remarkable.
What an extraordinary man Zelenskyy is. SLAVA UKRAINI

Needs to be withdrawn right now. The shame of it would be generational.

100% agree.
God, it's so sad. A great nation brought so low. But the shame will also become ours unless we tell the current US Govt to get to fuck. Today.

Agree. And should Putin get his way now, then this increase will be drop in the ocean to what we will pay for defence in future.
Also, doesn't our aid budget currently fund asylum seekers in hotels? So by improving the asylum system as the HO is doing now, give some budgetary slack?

I just don't understand why we didn't do this 3yrs ago. We didn't we hit every Russian with dodgy backgrounds as hard as possible to force them to take on Putin?

Including my daughter. Was planning on applying for a soccer scholarship. Has no intention of going now.

Dire. Beyond grim. Every day brings a new level of awfulness.
So, so depressing. But a huge kick up the arse for us and Europe. We need back in the EU yesterday.

Same. Cried more than I laughed but that felt right and appropriate atm. Cheesy but heart warming, felt genuine and about loyalty, love and hope. Solace in tricky times.
And a bit of snow so no one ever has to watch the appalling Love Actually as an Xmas movie ever again.

We must provide Ukraine with everything it needs to defeat Russia's aggression and achieve a just peace.
Join the Solidarity with Ukraine demonstration outside the Russian embassy in London on Saturday 22nd February.

Exactly. Wonderful country with extraordinary people. And one which I regarded as the pinnacle of democracy and also of wonder. And it's now shit. Fallen. Through one despicable man and too many yes people. Absolutely tragic.

Agree the process could be quicker but this enquiry should improve future pandemic planning, identify any fraud & provide answers and/or comfort to those grieving loved ones. Arguably if it achieves all this, it is £200m wisely spent.
Unless you're a fraudster and now are in the frame.

Agree. Watching in horror from the UK. Your incredible country seems to be teetering on the edge of a precipice. A garden should be the least of anyone's worries.
