This happened to me too, I’m volunteering with patient advocacy groups to get the word out, but it’s like screaming into a void because so many people are suffering across the country due to the current administration

Omg yes, I was shocked how much “job coaching” cost my state when I saw the paperwork. They didn’t even help me find a job, they just changed some words on my resume 😭

I would really appreciate NOAA related news from this AltNOAA account. Please feel free to use a personal account to voice your personal views on current events. But if youre going to represent AltNOAA, please post relevant news. We rely on you to keep us updated on our jobs at NOAA.

Has there been any evidence if they have access to patient information? I certainly hope not but it definitely wouldn’t surprise me

My maternal fetal med doctor had this on her desk. As she was googling my rare disease infront of me because she had never heard of it.

A mother of a patient is being interviewed now. She lost access to medication and care for her son’s rare autoinflammatory disease in Ukraine, and was forced to flee her home country. She is so brave for telling her story to the world today. 🌻 🌻 🌻

If youre one that got news today, I’m so sorry. You are right to feel devastated. But you got this, you can get through it and each day will get a little better. Be kind to yourself tonight. Do you like Crumbl? I cry into a good Crumbl cookie on the regular 😅

I moved into Palworld, way more bang for my buck and lots of free updates. Nintendo needs to step it up!

I’m a healthcare worker, so if I relapse I will not be able to care for patients. My team will be short staffed, on top of being super short staffed 😫

I just learned my funding for grad school is indefinitely paused following a federal grant cut, so I imagine universities are dealing with cuts in scholarships too?

After yrs of treatment at NIH, my treatment ceased with no warning last week. No opportunity to line up alternate care in time to avoid disease relapse. And the FDA-NIH cancelled their annual Rare Disease Day conference. Rare Disease Day is about advocacy, but I’m feeling defeated instead.
