Seems like they could have figured out a way to replace the winner of the primary after he had a debilitating stroke.

The problem with us democrats is that we felt compelled to elect a candidate who was clearly brain damaged.

An open borders policy will win elections every single time…..

And that speaks volumes…..

Obviously a lot of people didn’t think that they were living the best life on the planet.

No surprise. The rich are always in favor of moving the tax burden from income to consumption (and then claiming like Romney that only half the people in this country pay taxes).

Elon Musk pays taxes and has a dozen children.

I think the remedy in the constitution is impeachment so he has no power.

Looks like they installed leaves on the trees too. Amazing.

It’s Monday. Monday is always a good day to replace Schumer as Minority Leader.

It’s just implied throughout.

Today is Sunday. Still a good day to replace Schumer as Minority Leader.

Damn the torpedos, FULL SPEED AHEAD!!! Okay, but I’m getting tired of losing (and hence being powerless). Time to listen carefully to the winds of change.

Today is Friday. It’s still a very good day to replace Schumer as Minority Leader.

The dems should have revolted on him by November 15.

If Tesla’s stock drops by half from where it is today, it will still have market cap of $350B. It’s by far and away the largest non-Chinese producer of EVs even with its sales decline. Don’t like Musk or the company, but Polestar is a long, long way from killing them. Nice to dream tho.

It’s Tuesday. Still a good day to replace Schumer as Minority Leader.

Now if the Chief Justice says that Trump’s craziness is damaging the economy, then people will listen and care. That’s what democrats should be screaming all day long.

That’s not what my kids say

Unfortunately, I think a lot of voters are only concerned about fascism if it impacts them negatively economically.
comment in response to post
If only the 2/3 voted as consistently as the 1/3 do.

This is a war. Attack where they are vulnerable. Here they are strong. Win or lose they win, in fact they win bigger if they lose. I have no apologies for being pragmatic.
comment in response to post
Let lawyers handle this and focus on attacking Trump and his lunacy for damaging the economy. The Democratic Party does not need to get branded as the protector of the rights of criminals here illegally.
comment in response to post
The democrats should be sowing fear, uncertainty and doubt in the American voters mind about the state of the US economy. Brand Trump and his craziness with losing money for American working people. Do this whether it’s fully true yet or not, it does not matter.
comment in response to post
There will not be impeachment hearings over this. Trump giving the the dems the opportunity to brand themselves as the party that’s standing up to protect criminal illegal immigrants. Yes I know “rule of law” “constitution” etc., but that’s not how it would land. Proceed with caution.

I fucking love my flat screen. It’s probably my favorite thing about the 21st century.
comment in response to post
I wish politicians would find a more forceful way of attacking Trump than talking about the “rule of law”. It makes people sound like they are channeling their inner Adam Schiff. Didn’t work in the last election won’t work in the next. Call him a criminal who’s destroying the economy.
comment in response to post
Dump Schumer. Also, the new leader should be someone without presidential aspirations. Perhaps that’s not possible.
comment in response to post
Don’t wait for it to tank. Accuse him of it now. That’s what the republicans do.

Anybody who thinks that Newsom ever had a shot at becoming president doesn’t understand either his political record in California or national politics.
comment in response to post
We’ve lost two out of three to this orange turd and I’m sick of it. If the democrats let themselves be branded as the party who protects foreign born gang members, we will lose again (and deserve to).
comment in response to post
We both can be correct.
comment in response to post
I’m all for the “rule of law”, but I just want to point out that if our victories are about preventing deportation of gang members, that’s going to play about as well in an election as securing transgender surgery for federal prisoners.
comment in response to post
You can try to respond to everything or you can attack. And the best place to attack is the economy and how all this various forms of craziness is going to make the average taxpayer poorer and the Trump cronies even richer. “It’s the economy , stupid” with a little class warfare on the side.
comment in response to post
Maybe so, but it seems like I’ve been seeing a whole lot more of them on the road recently.

comment in response to post
The reason not to shut down is to be able to constantly, continuously and emphatically blame the crazy shit the republicans are doing for cratering the economy, without taking blow back for the additional harm from a shutdown. That wasn’t Schumer’s reason. Time for a new leader.
comment in response to post
How dare he argue withe the greatest deal maker who ever lived……
comment in response to post
And new leadership is the house too?
comment in response to post
If you think there is nothing we can do and the world is going to end then don’t listen to me.
comment in response to post
Midterms count and we need to be very pragmatic and win them. Talking about the “rule of law” like we did 6 months ago won’t win it. It’s the economy and Trump’s craziness that’s killing it.
comment in response to post
It’s the economy, it’s the economy, it’s the economy. Attack on that and don’t dilute the blame with our own actions.
comment in response to post
And get rid of Schumer as minority leader. The dumbass has lost the narrative before even it starts.
comment in response to post
Dems will have to go on defensive if they cause shutdown. Trump will say they are responsible for stock market, unemployment, bad economy. Stay on offensive - Trump craziness is killing economy.
