Do you have a sense of what this looks like with net xG, taking into account shorthanded xG for and against?

As we get closer, it'd be interesting to update by including this season, as well as comparing to a model based on his March/April output instead of full season(?). I'd also be curious to see it regressed to the mean of players with a similar amount of shots rather than minutes.

This is ESPN. Is it what you were looking for?

Maybe a dumb thing but it's saved me some produce costs: when buying bagged salad look for the flattest bag. Puffiness level is due to the gasses the leaves etc. give off as they start to decay. In general flattest bags are the freshest.

Hmmm, I already had the pushpin feed but this didn't work for me either (yet).

Ditto on the 2010 take. 2009 isn't necessary because I clearly remember them winning.
(after watching one shining moment I settled in to watch that Shazaam movie with Sinbad)

2. If you've just come here from elsewhere, ask yourself: How do I want to be here? Do you want to bring over the destructive energy that, after all, made you leave that somewhere else to be here? Or do you want to be something else? You can reset here, if you like. You might like it better. /end

The winner of the 7th vs 8th place qualifies to the liguilla. The loser then faces the winner of the 9th vs 10th place game for the final spot.

Oddly enough, in some Liga MX circles there I'm (best) known for bringing attention to the "Big Mistake" as described by Tyler Dellow when discussing hockey years ago on his old blog.

On the other site I would occasionally dabble in advanced stats or graphics, creating content when I couldn't find it from others. But once Liga MX analytics took off I became more of a consumer.

Yeah the high shooting % had me a bit skeptical at first but the xG numbers are pretty reassuring.

I'm probably living under a rock, but where can I regularly see these hockey play animations?

😂 I saw the beginning of the sentence and then had to step away, so was trying to reevaluate the difference between my eye test and the stats, as well as guess what you were getting at. I'm glad I came back to read the whole thing.

Do you know if this pattern is similar in previous years?

Any other notable Caps seasons in either list?

I keep thinking about that "Ovechkin leads them in points" (with 12 in 18) surprise fact and boy does that say something about their offense.

I didn't stick around long enough to see if that last link to The Athletic required a warning after I saw the byline. Is it ok to read?

Despite knowing better, my default thinking continues to be "the Caps forwards are incredibly unlucky but Lindgren is just a superior goalie (and it's different for the rest of the league)."
