As unpopular as Trump’s statements and concessions towards Russia are, it is also obvious that in 3 years the West never had any credible strategy to restore Ukrainian territorial integrity. Some kind of ‘Korean War’ scenario with a ceasefire and a DMZ was always a realistic outcome of the war.
