Did John Olive just refer to Americans as us? I hope so, you can have him

Thanks.

One I've yet to try. How was it?
comment in response to post
You got there very early if I remember correctly 😊. Where did you run today?

Actually, this is democracy. 82% decided they didn't want to vote. That was their free decision. They effectively voted with their feet.

Although I in no way condone any of the alleged actions of these men, I will point out the keyword of accused and not convicted. Innocent until proven guilty

Maybe he should have gone earlier

I agree. People seem to believe that if we go back into the EU everything will go back to how it was. It won't. The EU will demand guarantees and concessions. They may state a single currency will be a requirement to us joining.

My hope is that we can ride out the next three years of this idiots control without reducing our standards. I'll be happy not to trade with the US at all. They have nothing we can't do without.
comment in response to post
The current figureheads of the US government are morons, this cannot be denied buy, I'm hopeful those actually doing the negotiations have a reasonable degree of intelligence.
comment in response to post
I don't believe leaving the EU was the mistake everyone is saying it is. But only history will show for sure. Both sides lied on the referendum, so to say we were duped into leaving implies the majority of our population are stupid. I don't believe we are.

I read the article

I'll let you reread your last comment and think about what you said.

Why rejoin the EU? I'd be happy to have us rejoin a European Common Market, but not a European Union. There is a reason we originally joined one but decided to leave the other
comment in response to post
No, and I didn't assume anything. I just asked a question.
comment in response to post
Why is it one or the other? Can't we have deals with both?
comment in response to post
What resources?
comment in response to post
So is Israel
comment in response to post
As would Nicola Sturgeon. They have a lot to answer for!!
comment in response to post
Ok. Let me rephrase my comment. When Scotland was asked it said no

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't think they'll get a great deal from either. I also agree that trump is an idiotic moron that cannot be trusted as far as I can piss. But, I also don't think kow towing to Europe is the way forward either. We should concentrate, at the moment, on what is good for us
comment in response to post
So the politicians in the UK are trying to do what's best for the UK?
comment in response to post
I think the point was that Canada, or at least the person posting this, felt Britain was abandoning Canada. Which we're not.
comment in response to post
Britain wasn't attacked in 1914 or 1939. Someone else was attacked and Britain went to defend them.
comment in response to post
Because when you were asked you said no
comment in response to post
I've never had or seen any toxic behaviour in the running community. What have you experienced?
comment in response to post
I think they all got book deals but the Vatican only chose to use four
comment in response to post
Going back to Europe with our caps in our hands asking them to take us back puts us in a very weak position. This cannot be good for our country. Better we negotiate an open market on trade but stay out of the union
comment in response to post
Done
comment in response to post
If you win can we have another election so those that didn't like the result can try and get the result they want?
comment in response to post
It looks like a shark attack victim's leg now. Such a shame. He was a good player too
comment in response to post
Now you're really being dumb. Scottish MSPs have been elected on the promise that they will have another referendum knowing that that us not going to happen.
comment in response to post
Do you think? I don't think a meteor hitting the Gulf of Mexico had anything to do with men
comment in response to post
In that case Scotland have already decided on their future. They decided to stay a part of the union. Just because you didn't like the result doesn't mean they should have another vote.
comment in response to post
Sadly, it has nothing to do with want the English want. They don't want you. That's why they should have been allowed to vote
comment in response to post
If Scotland had let England vote in the referendum Scotland would have it's independence by now. England would have voted for you to leave.
comment in response to post
But Scotland had the choice to stay or leave. They chose to stay, voluntarily. If Scotland had really wanted to leave when they had the referendum they should have given England the chance to vote too
comment in response to post
Didn't you have a referendum on this?

Yeah. A bit windy but once we were in the woods that was gone

I'm all for joining a European single market and customs union. I object to joining a European Union. There is a reason we originally joined one but left the other
comment in response to post
It's irrelevant. We have left the EU. We are no longer a member. Let's get on with life now and stop thinking about ifs and buts.

A nice, easy one for you lol
