Everyone can see that the center-right was a hollow shell, yes? It collapsed immediately & totally, which suggests there wasn't much to it. And everyone can see that conservatives' stated principles were always bullshit, right? Small gov't. Judicial restraint. Rule of law. Out the window.

The Republic Endures

Of course the NYT sees the "DEI" stuff positively & is neutral on anti-trans discrimination

the thing which liberal Zionism asks you to believe is that there should exist a liberal, multicultural Israeli state in a county where a party whose politics close to Atomwaffen holds key ministries, but that the government now occupying that place should not be hanged, to the man, in the Hague

the "national conservatism" president of the "America isn't a PLACE, it's a PEOPLE" straight up saying we're going to sell citizenship like it's a fucking Lamborghini to rich people, to crickets from them, shows you how bullshit that entire project is. even on it's own terms.

Whenever I think about the history of the "political weaponization of cancel culture," or whatever, the thing that actually strikes me is how much it was a product of the *center* of the Democratic Party. If you think of where that energy was ten years ago, it was in the Clinton primary campaign.

the key to unlocking the patriarchal mindset is understanding that the orc & the knight are the same man, like dr jekyl & mr hyde misogynists project their violence onto other men to justify racial patriarchy while implicitly threatening to unleash their inner brute should a woman step out of line

One thing I think we need to grapple with more is how social conservative and fiscal conservative grievances have been collapsed in the conservative mind into the feminization of bureaucracy and regulation. Any rules or enforcement mechanisms—and administrative state itself—are all cast as women.

I think everyone in this story should be dead.

wow he really did this. I'm going full (to steal from @jamellebouie.net ) social democratic George Will here. We need a wealth tax because the wealthy have no sense of fucking decorum or manners and cannot conduct themselves with dignity.

Every democrat who thinks "the left" is setting policy on the border is a media illiterate coward. Trump's border policy was unpopular when he left office and then resumed with minor changes by Biden, a policy from the right that the right would never believe was harsh enough. Oops! Here we are.

This level of incompetence only happens when failure isn’t punished. Absolutely smacked in this election and no one has resigned at all. Not Jeffries, Schumer, anyone. Kamala scheduling a rally in NEVADA on the same day as well tells me she doesn’t give a shit.

The extent to which the South was modernized from the outside against its will will never cease to shock me. There’s no doubt in my mind that they’d be one of the poorest countries in the world if they’d somehow successfully separated in the 1860s

In 2018 Dems elected the largest class to Congress since Watergate, ~60 seats. A lot of it was, yes, Trump backlash. But the winners also had another thing in common, despite a wide range of differences: most rejected corporate PAC money. It’s a hugely compelling factor to voters & underdiscussed
