Not only do I agree with Simon Patten that there's enough to go around, but I think modern politicians have abandoned the pursuit of joyful consumption for cheaply made toxic trinkets and quick profits. Thereby resulting in a modern society that's poor, miserable, and full of junk.

No matter where you fall on the TikTok ban, the President undoing by “executive order” a law passed by Congress and upheld unanimously by the Supreme Court is an unconstitutional abuse of power.

I'm not pro ban, but I don't use tik tok. So the ban doesn't affect me. In all honesty, I find the premise of tik tok to be off-putting. I like typing and reading. However, I am seeing a lot of people upset. So my question is: How does this affect activism and the state?

Maybe by introducing ai tech that enables future generations to easily complete projects that previous generations would've needed finely tuned skills and intellect to complete, we've created a future that will be less intelligent and skilled.

I got vaccinated because folks who spent years studying science told me that it was the wise choice. You protested against vaccinations because someone's mom, who barely passed high school, shared a post on Facebook that claimed vaccines cause homosexuality. We are not the same.
