$20 at CVS. Pay in cash and make calls (to a reporter, say) that are totally untraceable. You can also take photos of documents or emails and text them. Just make sure to buy your minutes in cash too.

I've noticed lately that several prison and jail systems now require "verification" before you can send e-messages to people. One jail in CA wants your DOB, the last 4 of your SSN, *and* a photo of your drivers license, which is to say, your home address.
