Excommunication. Until they repent.

So yes, I am absolutely ok, more than ok actually, I just need some change of routine, and some non-work responsibility shedding. Literally a sabbatical for a lay person. Again; it may seem unlike me, because it is, but I'm trying to take better care of myself than I used to.

6 prioritize it over the majority of everything else. I need time to continue to rebuild my marriage (that is doing much better but does need work still), get my composure back, and get things like school started, which I have put off for way WAY too long.

5. With hundreds of applications and exactly 2 calls, changes at my parish, and a polar opposite sleep schedule have me getting total whiplash. I need to cut some responsibilities, and, as fulfilling as serving at the altar is, I need a break. My new job makes me proud for once, and I need to

Scratch the 3 thing. 4/ many. Between dealing with liturgics and, recently, some mild church politics, I'm not sure how to read what's going on or if I should be involved. I nearly went through a divorce last year before it came back together, I finally found a decent job after MONTHS of searching

3/3 the chaos of everything in life the last few years, ESPECIALLY last year's total mess of a life, has made me badly need a change of tune for a while. I'm not in a bad mental health state, but I'm not in a perfect, calm one. I'm stressed still from the chaos of no money and too much to do.

2/3 , I need to take care of some life balance things. For a while, I'm not serving at the altar. Of course I will again, but I need a long sabbatical from it and other responsibilities. I'm going to still likely take a break from my current parish in the midst of chaos, as I need something calmer

My husband got me a rose yesterday actually 😅 Unfortunately at least with men, romance is hard to find these days

Angels we have heard on high, priests and deacons tired tonight. And the servers in reply, echoing their tired delight. 🤣

He's automatically upgraded to bishop. LOL 😂😂😂

Yeah, we do morning prayer Monday-Thursday said in the nave at 8:30 AM but in person only. Our bishop REALLY pushes the daily office, and we are trying to revitalize our weekday prayer, so we are still expanding our online offerings.

I was just wondering the same thing lol 😂

We have these little gift bags with a cup and a bunch of other various things in them. I always thought we should put a penny in each one and then say "there's money in it!".

With permission from my bishop, my wedding was converted to Rite I language from the Liturgical Resources 2 rite that was adapted from the 1979. (Was not an opposite sex wedding, so BCP was not suitable) I used guidance from the 1928 BCP for wording.

Oh I would, but alas, I am character limited.

Note also that my parish names these as "eucharists" but I label as "mass", as they are synonyms and also "mass" uses a lot less characters.

Very liturgically diverse too. 7:30 I'd say is the closest to "old high church" you can get in Oklahoma, 9:00 is really "low Roman", and 11:00 Rite I is borderline Anglo-Catholic.

No, but our associate rector and parish administrator/priest associate will likely be de facto priests in charge until an interim rector is chosen.

Me me! Pick me! lol or, "Picketh me". (I go to a Rite I parish)
