i usually put it on greyscale mode and just listen to podcasts an hour before bed

everything lol
- limiting screens (aka just reading or listening to podcasts 1hr before bed)
- magnesium
- exercise early in the day (usually before 3pm)
- ending last meal before 7:30pm
- cold room
- red light in bedroom
- breathing exercises when laying down
my brain won't turn off occassionally

The latter! Like when I'm catching up with a friend I'd much rather talk about what excites them then talk about the usual (weather, work, family, etc).
Any tips for recognizing if they're in the mood and how to elicit a conversation where they share their deeper interests?

i partially agree - i do think a lot of people lack some type of passion.
but it's funny, the ones who are in my circles and don't have passion also don't have kids, pets or religion
I guess it varies by group too

Maybe the broader question is how do you get people excited about the things you're excited about?
comment in response to

Example: let's say i'm excited about Aeropress coffee
and I want to talk to...my coworker about it but they don't use an Aeropress?
Am I setting myself up for failure? 😂 Or is there a way to do so that they get excited too?
