One thing needs correction. Trump is certain to rename it the TRUMP Riviera!

I’d like to hear what Keating would call him. Keating had a real gift when it came to insults!

I can only hope he continues this Trump adulation because by May we will possibly see the USA implode and Australians won’t want to go down the same path!

Well you must admit he has 1 thing in common with Trump - they are both extremely unattractive!

“South Africa is doing very bad things” - did Trump write this?
Also, what’s the sudden interest in South Africa?
I see President Musk is not following the America First policy.

What the FBI? Trump now owns it.
I doubt anyone will be able to stop this.

One thing I gotta say about the Australian system. The Ministers (Secretary equivalent) including the Prime Minister are chosen from elected members. If the leader of the party doesn’t win his own electorate, he’s gone!

And trump is so dumb he has no idea that he’s been played.
Trump reckoned that Biden was Obama’s puppet, he can’t see he is Musk’s!

Tariffs are nothing but a sales tax targeting imported goods paid by the end user.

Speaking personally as a renting aged pensioner, there is a “social housing” waiting list of at least 5 years and we don’t qualify for “affordable housing” (Only available to people that work).
I know people paying up to 70% of their pension in rent.

It’s so sad that the only way America will recover from the cult that is MAGA is to implode then hopefully rebuild.

I’ve never seen bats like we have here in Bathurst. They had to close the main park in town due to falling branches from the weight.

I once did a cost analysis of consultants v employees and employees came out far cheaper.
Anyone that thinks a headline that says 5000 public service employees cut, has no idea that they just hire 5000 agency temps which don’t show on staffing reports.
1 Dept I worked for was 30% agency temps.

It was in Dallas that I really felt unsafe. I was travelling alone, which I have done in other countries as well and felt perfectly safe.
I was staying in downtown Dallas and the hotel room had a sign warning me not to venture out or go to the car park after dark. Never seen that anywhere else.

I’ve visited America 4 times and after the last visit, I vowed I would never return.
It’s not just Trump, but the obsession with guns.
I really believe Americans have no idea what a safe society feels like.
That’s it’s beyond our comprehension that a gun could be a necessity.

60,000,000?
Where does he get these numbers from?
The National WWII museum states about 1/2 that.
You know people may have had more respect from him if he just told the truth!
But then again maybe not.

And he welcomed Caitlin Jenner to Mar-a-Lago because she publicly supported him.
He didn’t put his hand on the Bible for the oath, so where is the outrage from the Christians?
That many people can’t be blind to his hypocrisy!

What astounds me (though I shouldn’t be astounded by anything in America these days) he turned and did it to the American Flag. Now where are all these so called “patriots”?

I hope Dr Fauci will find some peace somewhere in the world. What they have done to him is appalling. He devoted his whole working life to the health of others.

He “saluted” the crowd then turned and “saluted” the American flag. It’s real!
comment in response to

I feel so sorry for Dr Fauci. He dedicated his life to the health of others and became Trump’s scapegoat, because there was no way the cult would say Trump stuffed up.

(Some) Americans seem to think personality and wealth are the criteria for leadership.
Character and decency doesn’t seem to rate.

Does anyone know…..
Who pays for the actual Inauguration? Does it come out of the government coffers?
I ask because I saw a post that Trump had raised something like $170mil for his inauguration.
