A communist seizes the government and then the means of production and requires the people to work to produce what they want.
A capitalist buys the means of production, then seizes the government and requires the people to work to produce what they want.

Ya know, that guy doesn't look like he's out in the fields moving irrigation pipes at 4 AM because it's a job you can do before first light.

We are suggesting that the government buy the freedom of everyone denied due process and then all involved parties surrender for punishment.

But an AI tells the robots build the robots that mine the coal.
There is no reason to have a human involved in turning coal into electricity.

Black Hole Economics. One will consume the rest.

Trumponomics. I will hurt myself until they give me everything.

🙂 They don't get it.
Automation will take everyone's job so they won't be able to buy what's produced. They'll need to tax corporations in order to provide a means for people to buy things.
Lowering the retirement age and increasing disability payments is how the transition takes place.

What?
They are not checking social media accounts for antisemitic content. They are checking social media accounts for anything they can use to justify denying applications from the kind of people that the maga administration doesn't want.
So they open a pro-maga account and get right in?

China can slap tariffs on US products all day without hurting it's economy.
Where does Don think I'm getting the electronics for my autonomous toy cars? My $70 lidar sensor is going to cost me $150 and I'll be paying twice in sales tax on the tariffed stuff too.
comment in response to

If the government sets prices then they can charge any tariff they want and it won't effect the economy.
comment in response to

I thought about these tariffs and...
If Don shoots himself in the foot with tariffs, well, don't interrupt your opponent while he's making a mistake, and don't repeat his mistake.
We'll see who's as dumb as Don and who provokes Don into making it worse.

You know that if they sold to make money then they took a short position. Why don't we hear about it when politicians invest against America?

If your goal is to make more money, the product will suffer.

No one wants American cars because they don't make a series hybrid that gets 150 mpg on road trips, uses no gas in town all while being stylishly non aerodynamic.
The problem is that they think their job is to make money when the real job is to make cars.

The MAGA business plan:
Great Americans will build automated factories to manufacture quality items for unemployed Americans that won't have the money to buy them.
