I’m sticking up for the women. We have Title IX for a reason.

Removing the BLM Plaza is removing racism. We are all one.

Yes. It matters because any future president can restock any department that has been emptied and reassigned to other agencies unless Congress shuts it down.

X is all lit up talking about you.

Everything Musk seems to touch, improves the lifestyle of Americans, of everyone really. I see what you’re getting at. But I think the US people and government are the winners, more than Musk.

Maybe we need something radical to save ourselves from the growing $36 trillion debt.

The education level of our kids has plummeted. I don’t know why. But I’m open to trying something different. I do think an education designed by locals makes more sense. Trump can’t close the DofEd. He can only depopulate it. Let’s see what happens.

When President Carter opened the Department of education, America was number one in academic advancement. Today we’re 45, yet still the most expensive. I’m willing to try something else because this didn’t work.
comment in response to post
Yes. Trump can gut the department. But only Congress can dissolve it. With 60 Senate votes required.

There’s a great book written by a woman who lived through Mao’s cultural revolution and now lives in Kentucky. I think it’s called Mao’s America. Her theory is that progressives have Marxist similarities. It was interesting.

Congress is the only branch who can eliminate a department. The executive can empty it for four years. Or eight.

You might wanna stop using some of the words you use. You’re yelling fire in a crowded theater. And you don’t know it.

Wow. Can you supply a link for that? Is there a number I can call to verify that that’s what a VA gets who’s looking for mental healthcare?

I think Rick Wilson is cooked. They’re gonna go after him. Criminal charges as well as lawsuits.
comment in response to post
I don’t think suspending Rick Wilson is going to be the end of this story. I think he broke some laws. He might be arrested. He might be sued. Doesn’t feel like the end to me yet.

The BLM Plaza was racist.

To be honest, I always thought it was kind of an eyesore. Too big. Too loud.

You have more money than Musk does? You’re a smart girl. Don’t write stupid stuff.
comment in response to post
But how can that be? Didn’t other presidents including Trump have the opportunity to find the fraud and the waste? What am I missing? I’m afraid of our debt. I hope they throw every found dollar towards it.

I read that they’re all pretty gobsmacked, and don’t know quite what to do next. They better find someone with strong leadership skills and less woke or they’ll blow it again.

I thought Vance made a good point about free speech and the canceled election in Romania. Basically what happened in Brazil. Awful. I don’t know if Europe can see their own hypocrisy.

OK, but compared to DOGE, I’m not sure they did a very good job. To me, it looks like CFPB should be closed. They were not effective. We’re trying to save our country here Pete. We have to run a lean country. We can’t afford to carry people who are not effective, or who are lazy and unmotivated.
comment in response to post
I’m not sure I agree with you. I beat myself up every day helping people get well. I don’t need the money.
comment in response to post
I hear what you’re saying. But with your track record for spending and producing chargers, I think you should sit this one out, Pete. The DOGE team are doing their best to save the country from bankruptcy. Be grateful. I am.
comment in response to post
That’s not very kind. We subsidize you. We are your defense.

We have so much debt. What’s a better way to get rid of it? Congress just seems to make it worse and worse.
comment in response to post
Yes, but did you earn a $700,000 award at the age of 17 for breaking the code of an ancient scroll?
comment in response to post
OK, sounds like musk made a large mistake. But isn’t it a good thing that they’re finding our wasted money? What am I missing? Isn’t it possible that a lot of our money has been stolen? To me that’s good news.

I was looking forward to reading this article. The facts, (which turned out to be wrong), and the hyperbolic tone of at least the reader, makes its reliability suspect. I wish there were a place to get clean news. Very disappointing.

I would help everybody in North Carolina in California who lost their homes in neighborhoods. Mexico was responsible for training Mexicans.

Maybe we should try something different. We do spend the most per student on education and we get really bad results. It’s not our kids’ fault. We have to change something.

I think Mexico needs someone who is not afraid of conflict. The cartels have been managing the government of Mexico for close to three decades. I think it’s time for a confrontation. Someone has to step up and represent the people of Mexico, and keep them safe.

Be careful. Canadian government will have the banks freeze your assets. I never got the money back that I gave to the truckers through GoFundMe. Government kept it.

Canada should hit the US, dollar for dollar. Problem is that for decades, the game has always been played with one Canadian dollar versus 100 American dollars. They’re done with us. It wasn’t fair. And now we’re the victims?

42% of Canadian business is to America. A tariff of 100% on Teslas is, like most things Trudeau does, a symbol with no substance. Canada better come up with an answer fast or they’ll go under, suffocated in their own arrogance. Canadians deserve better, like Pierre Poilievre. He’s an ADULT.

There are tens of thousands of heterosexual BIPOCs who want to serve now that the standards of the armed services are back. Let them pay for their own surgery.

Why was the decision made to turn down help from firefighters in the state of New York?
