The difference is Baun is top of the market - Fred Warner got $100M at this position - whereas Williams has never been anything more than rotational and Sweat's production is middling.

I think a lot of people in the Eagles bubble are gaslighting themselves into thinking that Baun is not going to have Fred Warner money staring at him in the face from other teams. He will. It will either be on Howie to match (very likely not) or Baun to settle for less to stay in Philly (plausible).

Reports of the decline initially came from, I believe, The Sun, which is very much known for fibbing.

Also the Phillies for the past few years have been mainly comprised of people whose whereabouts on January 6 are in full question so I am sure there are a few Eagles whose political beliefs I would rather not know the full details of.

I believe the actual answer to this is 11 years ago was the last time it happened - the Seahawks put Tarvaris Jackson in the game for their last drive at the end of Super Bowl XLVIII after beating down the Broncos.

Yeah, I am being a tad exaggerative but I do think Eagles fans need to brace themselves for Baun to receive a Fred Warner type of contract, whether it be from Howie or another team.

If the Eagles are not prepared to pay Zack Baun upwards of $25M the Eagles should probably start saying goodbye to Zack Baun.

I feel like it's been known for awhile you don't want to blitz Mahomes. The issue is most teams don't have the personnel to actually pull off what the Eagles pulled off tonight.
