My twice-monthly group in Chicago uses Meetup, and it's been great, especially for getting "non-gamers" to join. However, their fees are not insignificant, ~$300/year. They also take 20% as a service fee for all donations that you collect through their platform. www.meetup.com/beer-board-g...

The NYT quotes SJSU’s assistant coach saying that the trans woman on the team jumps higher & hits harder than the cis women she plays against—but doesn’t check to see if that’s true (it’s not—the screenshot on the right is ESPN’s reporting from earlier this week disproving those claims.

Correct, but if someone is accidentally added to the list, they can be removed which effectively unblocks them for you. Since the block isn't tied to your account directly, this means it's less permanent in case of mistakes. If you go to an account, it'll also tell you which list is blocking them.
