What did they expect people to do? Stand next to the tree with a fishing net trying to catch all of the leaves every time the wind blew?

So my garden isn't very big which means I'm limited but I have extended the flower bed this weekend to add some more insect friendly plants into it around the rowan tree i planted

Anyway, my bird bath arrives soon, hehehe.
If I have to live on a new build estate where people have cut down trees & covered everything in shitty fake grass, because God forbid plants exist, then the least I can do is put mealworm out for the birds.

I am very fortunate in that most of the documents I need, which are English language, are pretty much all copperplate. French docs are okay too mostly

I also really like the bio by Ran Fiennes, just because he adds in his own personal stories to add contact which I just enjoy personally because I like his writing Style

So, I would absolutely read Scott's own account - 'Journals/Scott's Last Expedition'. I'd also read 'The Worst Journey in the World' by Apsley Cherry-Garrard and Edward Wilson's 'Diary of the Terra Nova Expedition to the Antarctic'
On just Scott, the bio by Crane is good.
