You’re the one with the internet presence, especially on YouTube. Don’t wait for politicians to figure this out. Use your platform for the common good. Don’t just explain that Social Security fraud is small; talk about the people who say it isn’t. And say how gaslighting like this can be addressed.

Watched the video, and while I buy the argument, I’m not sure you articulated the politics of abundance as clearly as you did the challenges Democrats have made in recent decades. Perhaps in the future you can say more on this.

I sense that you seek to avoid political issues, but I hope you’ll agree that doing anything less is akin to not voting in elections. Years from now when you (and your brother) look back on your social media history, how will you think about this time, especially if Trump succeeds? Use your voice.

@hankgreen.bsky.social Consider using YOUR significant internet skills to promote the political ideas you support. It’s not enough to explain Social Security fraud without naming the context & the people who are gaslighting the public. You & @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social owe your viewers no less.

I actually think it's kind of a bad idea to just ignore the concerns of all the people who look at, say, the national debt or budget imbalances. They aren't wrong, but they view it as a spending problem when really it's an income problem.

Would it be too much to ask for ABC to find even one other source for such accusations before airing them? If this was a live interview, perhaps they could mention that statements like that are unsubstantiated until they aren’t. News needs to stand up for truth and dispute unverified allegations.

@kaine.senate.gov - Chesterfield constituent here. I like that you are working to help illegally fired workers visible. What are you doing next as a result of the people you’ve seen? It’s important for you to take meaningful action - there are many things you can do in your position. Please act!

Photo ops at the new VA center in Fredericksburg don’t matter if the Executive Branch refuses to staff the center as it was funded by Congress. Sincerely, A Chesterfield County constituent

@markwarner.bsky.social - Is the Executive Branch meeting the obligations laid out for them by the Legislative Branch? If so, what are you doing to redirect the Executive? If not, why aren’t you raising the alarm? You don’t have to be in control of Congress to show us what you can do.

And I am a constituent from Chesterfield County.

@markwarner.bsky.social - What is your plan? How long will you continue to wait, and what will you do if the declaration is not forthcoming? I assume you are paying much more attention to Trump’s actions than I am. What is it that has informed your current strategy of waiting for more than a month?

My wife is in DC for the event. I wish you weren’t streaming on Twitch for two reasons: 1) I don’t use Twitch 2) Bezos owns Twitch. There’s a boycott of all of his properties (Amazon, Audible, Whole Foods, Twitch, etc.) this week. But I avoid his stuff completely. Please do the same.
