You can see Art Box, SNK's version of this technology, being used from 3:34 to 3:47 in this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=axr5...

It reminds me of when people say it's a shame there's no Vampire 4, but also there's no way a game like VSav would be permitted to be made in today's world. Maybe if SNK made it...

When they announced the game, I thought it would be out of the question for Just Defense to recover life like it used to. So the fact that not only that but all of MOW's mechanics have been authentically reproduced has far surpassed my expectations. 😌

Two months is more than I might have expected... I've thought this for some years, now: "If you don't own your platform, expect the platform to betray you."

I'm in the same boat... I'm going to try to get everything backed up before the hammer falls, then put it on YouTube.

SNES Star Fox at 60fps is funny because audio that was timed to the slowdown starts breaking before you even get to the title screen.

It's not the case, but enough people spread the idea that a famous Star Fox fan animation ("A Fox in Space") features a scene where Wolf asks an imprisoned Fox if he can see his legs, since he's heard the rumours.

Of course, as long as you have 3 bars, King's Climax can counter it at any range without needing the guard point. Never suffer a karate man to live. 😊 #SNK #KOF #KOFXV

A friend asked if you can then punish it as well. Certainly, based on your proximity, you have options~ #SNK #KOF #KOFXV

Can't believe you experienced this exact interaction.

"Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils" has a good amount of tech. 🤍 Much more than the game ever requires you to use, but it's very satisfying just to play around and see how much you can clown the level design. 🤍 store.steampowered.com/app/1726760/...

When people compare graphics from early in a system's life to very late releases, the line is always "devs learned how to use the hardware better"—which is likely true to some extent, but if you just compare ROM sizes, it's clear the difference can largely be attributed to increased storage alone.

The fact that the tag was "NES Peach" and not "SMB1 Peach" indicated a lack of awareness that there are multiple NES Peaches, which struck me as bizarre.

The Slayers game for PC98 (titled "Slayers"). It received an English translation just a few months ago. ❤

Even I ended up not taking it along~ Just having a general map to refer to, I could make do without—and with just a bit of practice, I hardly needed to refer to that at all. The few things that are illuminated no matter what, like items and enemies, aid a lot in navigation as well.

I've never doubted it. You are capable of amazing things.
