Teaching on the Ghent Altarpiece (1432) and it is a painting full of books, words and literary associations - which is perhaps one of the reasons why I, and so many others, can never get enough of it! There is always something new to investigate! 📚

Hello #MedievalSky Does anybody have easy access to Theodore Rivers, Trans. (1987) "Laws of the Salian and Ripuarian Franks", ...and, if yes, could you send me photos of Titles §55 and §88 from the Ripuarian laws (i.e. with the laws on despoiling dead bodies/graves)? Many thanks!!
