Writer, knitter, cats cats cats. Movies & music & books, oh my. Physical media is the only guaranteed media. Be nice to yourself first, others second. This is yet another in a long series of diversions in an attempt to avoid responsibility.

What's frustrating to me is, even if the guardrails hold, those supporting Trump will immediately say, See? It wasn't so bad!

It's too, too quiet.

If you find it, please let me know! It was on hulu back when hulu was mostly unknown bbc stuff, which is when I saw Zomboat.

I loved Zomboat!! The hotel episode was hilarious. There was a BBC show called Survivors that I adored as well, but I cannot find physical copies because of the name. It was pretty much The Stand but in Britain, and with government conspiracies. Very cool.

I'm fairly certain that's exactly what my husband Max and I were discussing when we encountered that episode, while watching the entire series ten years ago. And nobody fist-bumped, turned in three circles, and sneezed twice to dispel the curse!

Yep - this is why I haven't spoken to my family of origin for over a decade. Life's so much better when you walk away from the toxicity!

It would be really lovely if we could blame all of this on aliens!!

HARD AGREE. As a Gen Xer, I had only seen the first one, but my husband and I recently watched all five over one weekend. 1, 2, and 5 were great, or at least solid, while 3 and 4 could have been lost to the ages. I wonder if younger generations are less likely to DRIVE logging trucks!

We're hard pressed to figure out the difference between actual darkness and our void, Sophie.

For some reason, all I can think is, "I GET KNOCKED DOWN, THEN I GET UP AGAIN."

I felt that "sock, sock, shoe, shoe" was the One True Way until I started having mobility issues. Getting one foot up can take a lot of time and effort for those with disabilities, so I try to keep my footwear-donning outrage to myself now.

Is it really dialogue when there's no answer? Wait, scratch that; the LOOK is the answer.
