This is how it’s done.

Information was shared illegally. A career employee at the Social Security Administration provided unauthorized access to data to Elon Musk’s staffers. This employee, Leland Dudek, a data analyst, was recently promoted to acting commissioner by Trump.

BREAKING: Donald Trump purged the Military to install loyalists, his Administration suffered a significant loss at the Supreme Court, and Republicans are being held accountable by their constituents. open.substack.com/pub/aaronpar...

DOGE’s expenses have risen above 40 million, with weekly costs now exceeding 10 million. We will release an updated DOGE staff list soon.

BRAVO to Maine Governor Janet Mills for slapping petty tyrant trump in the face with her calmly defiant "see you in court." THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE. 🔥🔥🔥

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

Also if you feel strongly about Eric Adams, you should call your city councilmember to express that and ask for their position. You’d be surprised. Hochul’s stance is highly disappointing but it doesn’t come from nowhere. Press all your electeds. City elections are in 5 months. Ask candidates too.

Get. Him. Out. Of. Our. Government.

Amen to that.

He's mad his lies about Ukraine were fact-checked by his own website so he wants to change the fact-checking system

Dark Pence is back.

Exactly right

This is true. @bsky.app is the app of the people. We may not all agree. We may not even all like each other. But we can engage and disagree and agree with our hate That makes the platform the future of social media

It was an honor to sign the guest book in the home of Anne Frank. I was here as a younger man and thought about her life as a dark chapter of history. Today, I can’t help but think of her story as one of caution. Our world is fragile, and it’s incumbent on us not to break it.

NEWS: A possible Twitter conflict of interest with Elon Musk has emerged, the Senate has confirmed Kash Patel, DOGE won't have access to IRS data, and more in today's evening rundown. open.substack.com/pub/aaronpar...

Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage.

This morning, my colleagues and I stood in front of FBI headquarters to make it clear to everyone who wants an FBI focused on violent crime and not on political retribution: Kash Patel would be a disaster as FBI Director.

We now have a government staffed completely by a 4 Chan message board.

Republicans are trying to pass a measure in the dark of night to screw over working people so they can send a bunch of tax cuts to billionaires and big corporations. We won’t let them do it without a fight.

NEW: Minnesota was just ranked a top state both to retire and to raise a family.   By investing in the things that matter – economic opportunity, health and safety, and strong communities – we’re building the best state for all Minnesotans from childhood through retirement.

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

This is the most cowardly administration in history.

A federal judge ruled in favor of the Trump administration, allowing it to proceed with mass terminations of probationary federal workers. The administration has already dismissed 6,700 employees from the IRS, with plans to lay off an additional 50,000 workers from the Defense Department next.

The second rule of Fight Club is "you do not talk about Fight Club."

Trump administration is planning to use polygraphs to assess federal employee loyalty. There are ways to manipulate polygraph results, and we will provide guidance to coalition members. Polygraph results are not admissible in court due to their potential for false positives and negatives.

The DHS will use polygraphs to question employees about communications with the media or nonprofit organizations in an effort to root out members of the resistance.

Trump issued an executive order to drastically shrink the Presidio Trust, the federal agency overseeing San Francisco’s Presidio, a national park site at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Musk is pouring $1.5 million into Wisconsin’s upcoming Supreme Court race.

The Trump administration is using loopholes to maintain spending freezes despite court orders, with political appointees invoking legal authority to justify the pauses while distancing them from Trump’s directives.

Elon Musk claims DOGE has saved $55 billion, but the numbers don’t add up. DOGE released a list of canceled contracts totaling $16 billion in supposed savings. However, nearly half of that came from an $8 billion ICE contract—except that contract was actually worth just $8 million.

The resistance will bring down Musk and Trump. Congress, wake up before your power is gone. The GOP begging Trump to release money to their states is pathetic—stand up to this tyranny. Congress controls the purse strings.

Looks like we have even bigger issues. Yikes—the Trump administration is becoming a Russian sympathizer, spreading misinformation about Ukraine. Trump won’t even stand up to Putin, essentially telling him, “Do whatever the hell you want.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is working to reverse the “accidental” firing of several employees responding to an avian influenza outbreak. While the CDC says the public risk is low, the crisis is hitting the agriculture sector hard, driving egg prices to record highs.

Last week, Michelle King, acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, reassured the public about the presence of two of Elon Musk’s staffers at the agency, which holds sensitive data on 70 million Americans, including medical records and bank account numbers.

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston is temporarily closed after Elon Musk fired members of its staff.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?
