She is being replaced by Simone, Michael Steele and one other person I can't remember. So it's not as if Black voices are being silenced on the network.
Personally Joy was never my cup of tea. But I like Simone a lot and am looking forward to seeing more of her.

This does not sound good. I wonder if Rep. Lauren Underwood is aware of this? She has been a huge proponent of maternal health issues in her time in Congress.

and fwiw, there is a pretty easy path to feeling like a "hero" if a given man wants to take it — it is being a responsible member of your community, a provider for your family and being a good role model for the younger men around you.

More than that, it appears the WH considers him an employee, which means everything he is doing is with their blessing and knowledge. He isn't going rogue, he is their henchman breaking apart our government departments. The media is acting like they are two different parts but they aren't.

A congressional aide watching this said to keep an eye out for this language potentially being woven into other government funding, with things like HHS directives or inserted into approps bills.
Basically places where it would have a more immediate effect on people’s lives than at DOT.
