A lot of the boomers showing up to whine that Boston has never been so crime-ridden and dangerous as under Mayor Wu are the same halfwits who as teens snuck into what was literally called The Combat Zone (a “sexual Disneyland” as described by the WSJ in ‘76) to fight, drink, snort, and watch drag.

I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.

Alright, I'm here now. I quit Twitter in '22 and I'm beginning to recognize the same issues on Threads. Tired of 80% of my interactions being bad faith sealioning or trying to parse through misinformation and ads. Expectations are low, BlueSky. But that is, as they say, the secret to satisfaction.
