That is a neat example. Yeah, the current iterations that are used by people have glaring issues but I can absolutely see a useful and ethical use under certain circumstances. It just would require a lot of hard (paid for!) work and strict limitations and I think corporate greed prevents a lot

a matter of finding just the right framing that doesn't feel like a huge commitment and expectation at you but draws you in.
And thinking you are immune against these very well thought out and planned tactics is the first step in falling for them.

Others offer help in dealing with your personal problems, and everyone who knows how hard the battle with mental illness is can probably understand the temptation of someone having a tool that actually helps at least. And once someone knows what you would invest your energy in it becomes

It's far less "haha they make you believe in something silly" and a lot more of someone promising you to give you a voice and make that voice count. A lot of people got into weird groups because they were offered a chance to help people and change the world for the better.

There are a lot of smart people out there, and they don't necessarily target the uninformed and unquestioning people, they target people's empathy and their desire to get active and bring change in a world where most institutions make them feel it's pointless and they have no power to do so.

Yeah, when it first aired I was so disappointed after her first season and I really wanted to love it. Now I'm able to enjoy the good parts and just mildly roll my eyes at the things I don't like. And there are some good stories and moments. But online discussions about DW are veeeery polarized 🙈

Some storylines are quite well done imo, but the Chibnall era missed the mark when it came to writing interesting characters. There are a couple likable ones, but it stays too much at a surface level.

To explain, that ch is a soft sound in the front of your mouth with the back of your tongue pressed up against the roof of your mouth. The closest in English would be how you pronounce the h in hue or huge. Many people make a sound like a cat hissing at the back of their throat instead somehow.

It's in the tool tips somewhere but so easy to overlook that your dps also scales with how large your biggest stat pool is. So going jack of all trades just lowers your DPS with everything but man MMOs have so many infos that it's so easy to miss something like that
