I was trying to figure out why an ostrich was near your tide pool before realizing it was a human. Perfect arm arc to impersonate ostrich neck.

I didn't include speed options because there have been so few, but they lost TWELVE yards on that play and that play specifically is the most yards lost in the sample set that is both a run concept and not a fumble.
Success rate league-wide for Speed Option from the 1 is 62.5%

Of course this could mean the data is being skewed by Falcons overall ineptitude.

Over that time span Atlanta has the highest % of outside runs from the 1 (22.4%) and their overall conversion rate from the 1 is 37.1%, easily the lowest in the league. Second lowest is Cleveland at 48.4%.

NFLData, but here's score rates and TFL rates by concept from the 1 yardline since 2018. Outside Runs have both the highest TFL rates and some of the lowest score rates.

One of the things we track is yards allowed on tackle attempts. That Bucs game in Week 6 is the most yards added on tackle attempts by a single teainof any game this year (287). The average per team per game is 134. @robertmays.bsky.social @qbklass.bsky.social

40 seconds in and had to pause to listen to a Linkin Park song for the first time in years.

Come for the “kids these days”. Stay for the “no, what people actually want is empty capitalism”.
I’ve never exited a conversation more sure of the death of what was being discussed.

Batted pass. This last one was early in the third quarter and he played two more snaps the whole game. #Jets got a legit starter as an undrafted FA this year and he needs to play more.

Creed gets some redemption on the last drive of the game. Getting five yards of push on Vea 1-on-1 isn't common.

Not a solo, but the work he does (specifically in the first minute) on this one always gives me the shivers.

That’s an interesting thought! With NYT and WAPO descending into clickbaity lies, which previously maligned outlets seize a renewed opportunity to supplant them as “trusted” news sources.

Hi I’m a data analyst for a sports data company, but I’ve wanted to start tracking things like this in the media. The goal would be to database news media orgs and individual authors and eventually have sort of an RPG type attribute set for each.

The New York Times would like to scare-tactics you away from the White House’s Parkinson’s Research. Why is the times anti-science?!

Yeah that’s fair. Maybe I’m underestimating the pointedness of “republicans”.

Genuinely tried to write this in a non-combative way and not sure I succeeded super hard. I just think trying giving like 98% of Americans a pointed starting place is probably better practice than explaining the web of the GOP.

Do you think starting with “it was that guy!” and letting the major media of all people go “well ACTUALLY it was the whole Republican Party” is a bad thing?
