extremes on either side only serve to enhance and amplify misinformation. Demonisation is not match for education and you're not going to do much educating if you spend your time demonising!

I'm agreeing that in some socialised healthcare country doctors have a minimum hrs worked requirement (e.g. UK and Germany) but you did name France and here that untrue, the system relies on ethics in that sense. The only government minimum or maximum we are subject to is maximum consultancy fees.

I've volunteered in both South Sudan and Somalia two distinctly anti-vax places, perhaps the most anti-vax populous on earth. You will never EVER see the terror, agony and death that people see there. You need a dose of perspective and broaden your view beyond your narrow blinkered vision.

Your concern is valid, and it's deeply unfortunate what your brother/friend went through. However, while promoting vaccines is important, dismissing skeptics as "Trumpers" may alienate people and hinder constructive dialogue. Instead, focus on the evidence and the immense benefits vaccines provide.

Feel free. Oh and also feel free to use service-public.fr website to lookup this imaginary government mandated minimum we healthcare professionals apparently here have....there is an entire hospital here waiting to be enlightened with your laughter. Might take you awhile.....

French all my life isn’t really relevant because you clearly don’t have a clue. Conventionné have a maximum consultation fee set by the government currently 26,50euro. I was not inaccurate as I was referring your other countries. If I was subject to a min number of hrs, sure I would have noticed.

True but in France the doctors are subject to a government enforced maximum rather than minimum

Makes you wonder why the Republic is collapsing and we French are out on the streets protesting that we don’t have those things while Macron hides.

Oh and healthcare in France is mutuelle assurance based….and about 70% of doctors work privately

You think France leaves it at income tax? We have social taxes on top of that which range from 15-40% plus habitation, property and wealth tax. Ignoramus
comment in response to post
Every so called left leaning American says that, then they realise the higher taxes are over 50% on incomes that are minuscule compared to the USA.
comment in response to post
You should move to France, where even the poorest pay about 57%.....

OK, just import all the builders. Though then there won't be enough houses for the builders. Labour logic

And I live where not only is it legal but its not full of chemicals, produced locally and sold to a population who knows how to prepare it.

In case you're still considering a villain arc, perhaps focus on forcing rail transparency worldwide which is a fittingly niche, impactful and evil scheme! Oh and take the pronoun out that's so 2022 and only for old people now.

As long as there is EU wide referenda on the reversal of Brexit I am all for it. I say that in full knowledge that the pro-EU Brits will find those votes a rather rude awakening. You won't be forced on us again.

"your own continent" amazing you might think a continent full of right leaning people that don't want you are "yours". The uk is just a landing pad for our undesirables. That said, thanks for the fish

yeah another night of existential dread and zero sleep. Just what I needed to keep my disaster of a life running smoothly.

Addressing racial bias important, but with the NHS under strain from staff shortages and long waiting times, focusing resources on genomic medicine services feels misplaced. Prioritizing basic healthcare access would likely benefit all patients, including minorities, more effectively. Race grifters.

GII.17 is not a completely new strain and has caused outbreaks before (Asia during the 2010s). Its reemergence as a dominant strain suggests it may have undergone mutations that increase its ability to spread and/or evade existing immune barriers. There are definitely other factors at play.

She's done nothing but have the bravery to step out from under the boot of the white overlords and speak truth to power. Notable how all the white dems doing the same are not subject to your vitriolic attacks. Racism, pure and simple.

By the definition where “America First” means rejecting nuance in favor of cheap contrarianism. Distrust of everything isn't patriotism; it’s nihilism dressed in red, white, and blue.

It's not impossible just complex. Taxonomies evolve too. Broad umbrellas like "alternative medicine" reflect early drafts. Subdivision and mutation are *features*, not bugs, of mapping dynamic ecosystems.

Still digesting at the moment but one thing that I learned is that the poorest community in USA has a higher average income than the so called rich French yet apparently there are all these rich people of the US who want to jump borders to come here and pay 57 percent tax. So something IS happening

Mass Effect - mirror chirality causes food and resource issues between species, as they can't process proteins from opposite-chirality worlds. A REALLY neat sci-fi twist, based on real biological concerns about molecular incompatibility (similar to mirror life concept) but maybe Disney got involved
