I think some of the original ones on the list removed their accounts and probably put me on some block lists, but I’ll continue to add any I come across.

I think you’re right about that. A bunch of liberal posts but this argument. It doesn’t add up. Definitely bot like.

Let me explain why Ukraine does not owe the US one fucking cent: we convinced them to give up their nukes in exchange for a guarantee of protection by the US. Full fucking stop, this is not a fucking investment opportunity you fucking piece of shit

I know a lot of us are phone averse. Take heart, you’ll likely just be leaving a message and not speaking with a human. You can literally write a script and read it, or search for a script online on the issue you’re calling about. Don’t forget to say your name and zip code!

The White House is the people’s house not his. House rules are democracy not lunacy. Well, they were anyway before these idiots who are so terrified of truth and dissenting opinions that they have to bar journalists who don’t suck up to them.

I appreciate the effort to not group the American people in there. That’s what an ally does. We, as a people, need to remain allies and make it abundantly clear that we do not support this admins agenda.

Agree! To me, “nice” is a performative. I’d rather be considered kind instead, because I don’t play nice when others are manipulative and exploitive.

And if they sued, you’d likely use it to say they are against you simply for protecting their rights. Everything about this is manipulative.

It’s not as sensational but the pressure should be on politicians who are elected and do owe you answers and statements, and who, by their policies and votes, can actually oppress others. I still wouldn’t say using AI is right but could see the retaliation as comparable.

I doubt it’s worth their time or effort, still doesn’t make it right. And none owe you a statement. On the one hand, people tell celebrities to shut up and do their job. On the other, they demand participation. You’re free to be disappointed in them but they are just as free to be silent.

This makes that Oval Office presser with Elon and his kid seem like a grim foreshadowing.

Did they use their copyright to commit genocide? That’s not an argument to misuse AI. You can still speak up on genocide and racism. But it’s hypocritical to argue for human rights by taking away someone else’s rights (rights to privacy and publicity) especially someone who isn’t the oppressor.

Not getting consent is a misuse of AI. Using someone’s likeliness without permission is fraud. It also amounts to an invasion of privacy, intellectual property infringement, identity theft and it violates the right to publicity. There are reasons for such laws even if you don’t respect them.

Using AI to depict living people spreading a message, any message, that they didn’t consent to or explicitly endorse is wrong. Period. You can and should criticize the hell out of Kanye, but two wrongs don’t make a right.

I feel this way and looking for a way out. I’m reading that creativity and anxiety are like a toggle switch in the mind. The mind can either do one or the other. I’m guessing the book will say I have to force myself back into creativity but I haven’t gotten that far yet.

As someone from Texas whose state government doesn’t care when black, brown, native, and lgbtq people or women suffer, maybe they’ll listen to businesses losing their profits. I’ve given up on them caring about actual living breathing people.

You’ll have to get in line behind his mom. She called in to the show and lectured him once. I can’t imagine how she feels as his ridiculousness continues.

Silence is a choice. I try to be understanding of people who can’t afford to lose gigs, but it’s disappointing still the same and hard to make peace with “good people doing nothing”
