It’s like saying that Season Two sucks because Wu gave Bonzle advice because they aren’t similar enough characters.

Would a Zane focus not be an excellent way to re-address the issues plaguing the character?

I like random character crossovers, such as Morro and Arin, and unexpected character interactions can lend itself to interesting storytelling possibilities

since when is a character meeting another character and letting their advice marinate a "magic" solution rather than bog-standard character-driven storytelling??? the Crystalized PTSD is really flaring up in this community today

I’d say Nokt.

Welp, one of us is gonna have to be right about how this is handled and I think I’d rather I be right !!

I would be highly surprised if the writers had Morro single handedly redeem Arin. Morro will be tactfully used, I think, in a way that helps the grand story surrounding Arin’s character. It’s risky, but it’s all about execution and I don’t think ninjago should shy away from risk taking !!

Morro could simply be a component in Arin’s arc. That’s how I’m interpreting this. If Morro single-handedly redeems Arin it WILL suck, but I think they’ll cleverly use the character to help inform a grander story for Arin.

I genuinely think it’s a bad faith move to have your mind made up on something from a paragraph description, actually !!

I feel like we’re at the point of Ninjago gap brainrot in which we’re looking for problems in unreleased media.

May it only be the spirit of it that lives on 🙏

Genuinely explain to me why it’s such a bad thing that Morro could be involved in Arin’s arc; especially when there are clear and present parallels you can make between the two.

You don’t need depth all the time if you’re a badass.

People are mad at Morro being involved on the basis of him being a legacy character alone. Just wait and let them cook 😭

The language is too vague in this description to develop a fully rounded, well informed opinion.

Saying this like Nokt isn’t one of the objectively coolest villains as well, like- - 😭
comment in response to post
Maybe the Morro/Arin dynamic is incredibly cool. Just cos Morro is involved it does not strip Arin of any agency whatsoever 😭😭😭

Execution is key. That’s one thing i have learned being a ninjago fan.

What makes you say that?
