at this point if that guy says not to vaccinate something should probably just go ahead and assume that it needs vaccinated. with higher priority the more effort he puts into dissuading it.

where does the "almost every artist dreads" part come from? most the artists i've seen, their most dreaded question is the one they ask themselves when looking at their ever-growing pile of WIPS wondering "when am i going to finish that?" with more dread the fewer pieces they've actually completed.

imo not gonna bother rating a game bad unless it's bad because of the devs' personalities. if the only issue with a game is that it doesn't run well, maybe more sales will help them afford to hire someone who can fix it over updates. if they care (and aren't bethesda) it might someday be stable.

it is incredibly sweet that this adorable little stinker has someone who loves him so much that they'll take on $1k of debt trying to save him from his farts.

kind of hating the RBG-by-default trend because i'm pretty sure we're getting charged extra for it wanted or not, and personally i'd prefer it if the most expensive thing in my apartment didn't broadcast its presence with shifting bounce lighting. should not need blackout curtains at night ffs.

people with indoor+outdoor pets should seriously consider their neighbors getting backyard chickens as a red flag to change that status to indoor only. coyotes WILL kill and eat pets if they happen to encounter them before the loud birds they're looking for. cats, small dogs, they do not care.

not in the slightest bit shocked to hear that the constant maintenance is from being cheap, seems consistent with their cheapness in other areas. like their refusal to hire enough operators to run 24 hours as numerous civilized cities have proven possible that once made me fear for my damn life.

So I dont think it's really just because of the paperwork she has to do, but more like you are literally disrupting the ecosystem if you just go hunting for fun / potentially killing things that need to not be killed so kind of being the opposite of helpful at your job

The way a more gamer-y friend of mine explained it to me was something along the lines of the Monster Hunter Guild specifically exists to regulate the ecosystem, in older games there were penalties for unapproved hunts that were laxed in newer ones. So hunters are like park rangers on dino steroids
