As a doc student who is there to learn, I would look at that and think, "finally, someone who is as serious about this as me" and not take offense. none taken, because I am not the target of this policy.

This is so disheartening. I subscribed to the LATimes and proudly supported them. No more! I am saddened to see the debasement of the fourth estate all across the nation. I no longer feel confident in using the big papers as reliable news sources- no more NYTimes, WaPo, and now the LATimes.😩

Our faculty union advised us to discuss this with our students, to make sure our international students and those who may have non-citizen status are back in on 1/20/25. That’s just terrifying.
