The republicans can pass a budget without dem support anyway.
Which means the only scenario where a shutdown happens, is the republicans can't get the votes from their own party to pass the budget.
Which then means, that to pass the budget, dems have to vote for the cuts. Do you want them to?

Dems who ran and lost could hold town halls, maybe alongside elected dems from other districts.
Show the voters what they could have had! Show them who they can vote for if we make it to another election!

I hope so. Economic realities will come down hard on folks who thought he'd bring down the price of eggs.
