Love to read books. The Hobbit introduced me to adult fantasy books. I’ve always believed the written word was meant to be read and not left on a shelf somewhere. I also love old Nintendo games, especially the original Zelda No DM’s or porn

And so it begins the infighting spills into public view

This is exactly why we need to TAX higher earners. And we need to tax billionaires for all VALUE over 999 Million at 100%. We don’t want to tax billionaires on income, because it turns out they just borrow from banks on the VALUE of their holdings. Let’s even the playing field

Of course there will! The reason trump and company are trying so hard to cut government spending IS to give them tax cuts on our backs

I think you mean we are tired of being pissed on

Elon has got to go. Strip him of his naturalization. Take his company providing internet access and make it a publicly owned company - for National Security reasons and DEPORT his ass back to Africa

I’ve seen on Substack folks that are putting together a General Strike plan. Can’t find it right now - but there’s plans in process

I’ve seen more democrats speaking out. What I want to see is see the Democrats come out with a plan for 2029. I’ve seen suggestions and they are good! I hope the Democrats on BlueSky have seen them too. Anything the Democrats come up with better have taxing the rich for the VALUE of their holdings

During trump 1 that’s how I felt when he let Janet Yellen go and replaced her with Powell - who I didn’t think was as qualified. But he had a penis and to trump that matters more than expertise.

What he means is that WOMEN shouldn’t be voting. Next they’re going to complain that women aren’t changing their names when they marry - making patriarchy less patriarchal.

Not me. I believed the first man who made accusations. He went public but the story was pretty quickly squashed by the media

Yes. Because they claim they can’t find Americans to do the work. Truth is they don’t want to pay Americans. H1-B visa holders are like slaves. 7 years with one company for your green card. If you go to a different company the 7 years start over again. Indentured servants.

Yeah, I’m in IT too. Now that I’m at the end of my career, I’m working on old cobol systems because the younger people can’t/don’t want to learn the language. If it wasn’t for that I’d have been unemployed a while ago. We’re aging out and those systems are still running. Not gonna be pretty

When she saw with her own eyes what was really happening she was shocked. Before she died she went from a die hard republican to a somewhat scared democrat. She was an old lady by then. But it shows that even old she could learn that her life long beliefs were wrong and based on lies

But I brought my children up differently. Meanwhile, with the advent of cell phones, my mother was shocked when she saw some of the videos of black people being beaten and killed by the police. She always believed what she read in the newspaper or saw on the news.

I can’t, as I have never lived the black experience - just as you have never lived the white experience. You know I was brought up with deep prejudice. My parents didn’t like blacks and made no secret of it. They drank the kool-aide. I grew up and saw they were wrong. It’s a generational thing

So sorry for you. I understand the frustration and worry that goes with it. I was the earner I my family. Had 2 kids in school. Was a very scary time for me. I got lucky and I hope you do too. I’ll be keeping positive thoughts for you!

In my industry, women over 55 never found new work. Men over 60 had the same problem.
comment in response to post
Yeah. I was laid off at 58. I got lucky and was brought back as a consultant. Most of my friends who weren’t as lucky never found another job and were forced to retire or starve
comment in response to post
Don’t put your hate on me. I’m one person who never voted for trump for a ton of different reasons. I’ve also supported our diverse community for a long time.

Holy crap! I’d like to hear one of those bitches say that in front of me. Sorry penis-less people but trump and musk have no use for you unless you’re in the child bearing years. If not you mean less than dirt to them.

I truly hope he has a very short retirement. I’m positive there’s a place in hell waiting for him

A democracy shouldn’t have billionaires. Tax all VALUE over 999 million at 100%. Nobody needs a billion dollars.

Which just goes to show that it’s really not people who were involved with DEI he wants gone. It’s all the people that DEI benefited. No women No blacks No trans No gays All these people were recognized (eventually) by democrats - so he figured that’s where their loyalty lies

True. But trump took credit for the good economy President Obama left him. And then he left President Biden a nasty economy. The stock market falling on trump’s watch? Over valued or not - this is trump’s economy. The failure is his

Shame they didn’t take his hat and coat and show him the door. Then they could have raffled off the hat and coat for someone to make an effigy of him and burn it.
comment in response to post
Make his life miserable. And when he gets out again keep an eye on him and arrest him for EVERY law he breaks - including jaywalking. Trash like him doesn’t deserve a peaceful life
comment in response to post
When you call tell them that you will help ensure that they are challenged for their seat in the next election. And you WILL vote for their opponent no matter what party they belong to.

Pretty sure musk hasn’t been able to get it up for years. Aren’t most of his kids born via surrogacy?
comment in response to post
The biggest problem with working until you’re 70? You get laid off in your late 50’s or early 60’s because when companies want to cut costs the older workers usually make more than a kid just out of school. Next, companies don’t want older workers. So you can try to find a decent job to no avail

Not everyone believes that shit. There’s plenty of us in the USA who believe in the diversity of our country. Just as there are many who believe we are stronger and better celebrating our differences as well as our commonality

I already don’t support those brands - although it wasn’t because of Project 2025. This shows me how right I was

Not just provide and protect - but REAL men are there for their children. Money can’t make up for time spent with your children. In the end, you reap what you sow and he doesn’t seem to be spending much time raising and being there for his kids. Another dysfunctional family.

You know with the level of gaslighting he does, it makes one wonder (no not really) if he even knows what the truth is

Not black - but I am a woman. I’ve dumped those companies and the only way they will ever get me back is if they give me everything for free. If not, don’t worry already sourcing alternative options

Elon Musk entered the USA on a student visa and then quit school and didn’t leave the USA. He worked illegally. He ended up getting naturalized citizenship but should not have as he broke the law. Strip him of his naturalization, freeze and confiscate his assets and deport him back to Africa.

If we’re lucky enough to have elections. With him declaring himself King - well who knows what tomorrow will bring. As stated above if that happens then our last stop before a dictator is if the military won’t support him.
comment in response to post
Of course he is. But don’t tell him that. And while not telling him don’t mention that he’s also the wrong color for trump too. My guess is that once they are done with everyone else, they’ll make america great and white again so he’ll be gone

Won’t matter unless the military refuses to do his bidding against the American people

Sorry dude. Tolls help pay for the roads. People who are using the roads pay more than folks upstate who don’t use the roads into the city. Remove the tolls and let the roads get worse or tax people who don’t use them to maintain. I know that I’d choose those who are benefiting to pay more.

My husband is dying of an undiagnosed neurological disease. It presents almost like Parkinson’s, but the onset was brutal. In 6 months he went from driving & walking to not being able to walk or care for himself. The drs can’t give a prognosis so we don’t know how long he has. TY for your kind words
