Love it, I wish there was something like this built on top of tailwind

The search is awful. Everything else is mostly fine, but in a large organisation with loads of boards, it makes searching your own backlog such a chore

I watched Atomic Blonde yesterday and now I want to pick up smoking

I don’t think that top talent is going to move to the EU. If you’re ambitious, the US is still the best place to be.

It’s been done before though

What’s wrong with seizing the means of production?!!

100% agree with the sentiment, this is my favourite part

I agree that it’s great, but imo it was even better ~5 years ago. It’s gotten bloated and harder to use somehow

Looks completely different in Belgium and France. I first thought this was a Tropezienne with a hole in it. Looks delicious though!

Also, the last time I’ve had this was before GPT-3 was released. No one ever knew what I was talking about

Running your own physical servers is where it’s at

Everything else I can kind of live with, but searching stuff is by far the worst part of Jira

That’s amazing, your team proved a lot of people wrong. Congrats!

Also no point in going for an MRR multiple… when you don’t want an MRR multiple

I guess it also depends on how you run the qualitative test. “Which one do you prefer” isn’t great…

Beautiful!

The $0 MRR is either a bad or a genius move (considering you did have clients). Good luck with the sale!

Can you imagine if there were bookmarks *and* you could search them? We probably don’t have the technology yet, but one can dream

Maybe I shouldn’t be, but I was baffled by how smooth the scrolling is

One of those is surely “get bought by PE”

Not sure if they’re in your price range but surface laptops might be a good fit

Post an update when you start feeling *something* 😁

Does it work?
comment in response to post
I’ve gone with “don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness” in the past (like probably most bootstrappers) but this is obviously much better

Some of the UX is a little weird but I’ve had 0 issues with it and the guy behind it is very responsive whenever you have any questions. I’d definitely recommend it

Indie hacking is dead

I design a bit less these days but would say I fit the description 🙂👋

Most people don’t want to invalidate their own ideas though

Must have been a pretty big effort, congrats on getting it out!

And this is what that looks like in Threads

I wonder if it isn’t a Bluesky issue. Even Reddit links aren’t showing up correctly

Hetzner managed DBs might be in the works! I’m currently sticking to DO VPSs with Appliku because I really don’t want to manage my own PG www.reddit.com/r/hetzner/co...

Thanks, appreciate it! I definitely want to start sharing more about how I’m building it and what is/isn’t working

Hadn’t heard of muse before. Any idea how it compares to asdf?
