Carcass and aromatics (veggies, herbs, whatever you like) and then Instant Pot on high pressure for 60-90 mins depending on how much time I have. Just enough water to cover. You'll never go back!

I'm not in the writing business but I'm a reader, quite prolific (125 so far - at the end of October). I don't know how the authors I read are classified per se but if you could get starter packs of mid-list authors going it would be a first step. I take recos from anywhere ...

James. Loved Orbital too, & enjoyed countless others, but James should be an instant classic. It creates a completely new indictment of slavery, using satire, humor, exaggeration, irony, and bringing familiar characters to life in a much more (for me) complete way. Masterpiece.

The Cracked Mirror by Chris Brookmyre The Ferryman by Justin Cronin The first is different subgenres and then a bit of a different genre. The second is a real surprise! Both are great reads.
