Thank you Geoffrey, it looks very similar. I still haven’t managed to get back to the same location. I started a new job which is keeping me away. When things calm down I shall go back as soon as I can. Thanks again

Thank you Jenny, I’ll have a look. We are in NZ and I am a novice. Still finding my way around.

Hello Geoffrey, this one is growing on my camellias - originally thought it was tephromela atra though I was told this type was saxicolous and wouldn’t grow on bark. Since found that it does grow on bark in NZ but now I am too cautious to make the leap for a name.

Brilliant. lived in Bristol for a time, tall ships were big part of year. Friend of mine built tall ships. Modern, but very real sense of history evoked. Currently learning about historic shipping routes, privateers n pirates. Incredible stories. Beginning of all our ills perhaps. Good luck re DOGE

What are we looking at. It looks like the distant past but 10 years is not that far. Great photo. Do you have time to tell a story?

Back on the Levels, if you look, you can go deeper than the 1800s the last photo is a fish barn that in its earliest iteration takes us back the 1200s
