I was asked, what action I can take in this moment? I wrote down, I will continue to educate, mentor & support students. No EO or loss of funding will keep me from my commitment to increasing capacity in chemistry & biochemistry. We need future scientists & leaders at this time.

Re-upping this. We need experts in media literacy & stewards of the freedom to read now more than ever.

Thank you! A federal judge blocked U.S. DOGE employees from altering any records of payments at the Treasury Department while she weighs a request by public interest groups for a broader injunction against their activity. Thank you, U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly’s! 🙏

So naturally, you know what to do…👇 Enjoy. 😎✨

Guess which ‘one’ hasn’t figured it out yet?! 👇 Just one guess. 🇺🇸

Such a good question…👇 Where?!

Trying to make a somewhat difficult analytic point on TV: A tariff-induced inflation is different, and more painful, than most other sources of inflation. When tariffs cause prices to rise, there's no reason to expect wages to follow.

The only immigrant trying to destroy the country.

Gov. Whitmer’s proposed budget for FY 25-26 emphasizes retaining the funding increases of recent years with increases of about 4% in the education budgets and some targeted new investments in state operations like corrections and information technology. bit.ly/3VB1ouT

Trump is trying to bully our allies Canada, Colombia, Denmark, and Panama, threatening tariffs if they don't do what he says. Really? What about imposing tariffs on drug companies that charge us 10 times more than other countries pay for the same drug?

There's a growing chorus of concern that elected Democrats are not leading the resistance. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Democratic lawmakers need to understand something: Imagine your house is on fire. Fire truck shows up. Firefighters get out. They look at the fire, then at you, and say: "Such a fire is a grave threat. This house will not sustain." And just stand there. This is how many of you are coming across.

Why aren’t we looking into corporate welfare? In the United States, it costs taxpayers billions each year, with estimates ranging from $92 billion to $100 billion annually. Meanwhile, USAID costs only $40 billion. Hmmm… doesn’t add up.

The real scam: making you fear the “the other” while the rich rob you blind. I wish every American understood this.

House Democrats made an unsuccessful attempt to subpoena billionaire Elon Musk to testify about his efforts to radically reshape the federal government, only to be blocked by Republicans.

Okay, pardon us, but F this. America, you’ve got to stand up.

Headline: Some USAID employees in war zones have lost access to secure communications GOP incompetence can be deadly.

Today in US History: On Feb. 3, 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granted black men the right to vote. It was passed by Congress on February 26, 1869. Black Americans were set free by the 13th amendment. The 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship. #BlackHistoryMonth
