Immigrants in Europe largely support parties of the left unless there are viable immigrant interest parties (ie DENK in the Netherlands) running.

Resigning generally isn't a good look and would raise the q of why he ran in the first place in 2020 if too old.

He definitely should have announced he wasn't running again in late 2022 or early 2023 after the midterms but why does Harris deserve 10 years rather than 8?

The police seemed clueless, and aside from some top brass it seems like there was nobody at lower levels of command in the military willing to push troops to engage in the violence necessary for the coup to succeed. Was the commander at the Nat Ass aware and supportive before being deployed? 9/

First, I think a lot must be said of the Korean people’s commitment to democracy. When martial law was declared, the most common immediate reaction seemed to be that Yoon was nuts because declaring martial law would never succeed and he would be forced from office. 2/

The short of this up front: this is the end of Yoon's presidency. Full stop. He had a razor thin margin in the National Assembly--8 votes I believe--to prevent impeachment. That margin will disappear. The only question is how his presidency will end and how much violence it will entail.

Folks in D.C. ignored his domestic train wreck because he was playing nice with Japan and he sang a song at the White House. That was obviously missing the forest for the trees. His entire foreign policy will be repudiated, and relations with Japan will be radioactive.

Do you think the Kamala campaign touting Liz Cheneys endorsement made them conservatives?

Look, I gotta ask. How old are you people? Because I grew up in Kentucky under Dubya and if you don’t think American culture hasn’t *dramatically* progressed on LGBT issues, I promise you that you are wrong.
