Nano engraved on a nickel disc, 19mm in diameter. This artwork is really special to me, so it's a great honor to have the opportunity to place it on the Moon!

Yeah, it is a tandem mirror fusion drive, heavily inspired by Von Braun ship from Planetes anime

Hey, thanks a lot! Some life sfuff got in the way of finishing up this kitbash pack, but I'm back working on it again, will share more news next month :)

Congrats! Played the demo on itch.io some time ago, loved it a lot and now I've just finished it on steam and I love it even more, thank you for making this.

Actually there were some reports that shooting started already in Lithuania earlier this year, so there is still a chance for 2026. Also, it was really cool to see some of the scenes for previous seasons filmed in Poland in places I visit pretty much on daily basis.

Can't wait for the next season and for the Star City spinoff coming probably next year!

just watched this interview, great stuff!

I love it so much, one of my all time favorite pieces of media. I first watched it back in 2006-2007 and I'm regularly re-watching it every couple of years, definitely helped to shape me into who I am today 🚀 Definitely recommending to watch it and read the manga!

Unfortunately there were no concepts made for the interior as there were no real plans for visiting Crystal Palace, other than just some very loose ideas in the early stages of development.

Thank you for exploring it!

Not directly I guess, I haven't played KSP for a long while, for this one I was looking up some stuff at Atomic Rockets website and was basing on my general idea of fusion drives.

More details to come after further analysis of data coming from Watchtower 10 satellite. 3/3

Designed and built by Shinsei Heavy Industries, it is believed to be a test platform for the new tandem mirror fusion drive. 2/3

Near future setting I'm working on after hours - EMEZ - Earth-Moon Economic Zone, more info on the handy graphic I made for it.

And here's a sketch for the Arclight, done while blocking out the main forms in 3d.

Usually I do a quick sketch with a rough separation of main functions (engines, fuel, cargo, habs, etc), sometimes in my sketchbook, sometimes straight in 3d, then I start detailing it. Below you can find a gif with a process for another large ship from #EMEZ setting, Ceres class missile frigate.

Thanks! And yeah, that's some weird future starship-like lander.

If that happens often, it's not really encouraging to take part in these competitions, next time I'll most likely pass.

aerobraking shield was the main idea here, but probably could also work as a debris shield as well as a radiation shield for solar flare events (crew would hide in a safe spot right next to the shield

Such a cool and inspiring story!

While the competition was definitely legit, it was a bit weird, organized by NASA + yet2, at some point its site went down, results were never publicly announced, from what I've seen on X they've contacted winners directly, but would love to see all the winning art made for the contest 🚀
