I had never heard of Les Baxter before I read your books (although once I dug in I did discover some familiar sounding music), but now his work is a regular fixture in my playlists - I had Space Escapade playing while I put up my Christmas tree this morning. So thank you for that.

I know we're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but I bought this back when it came out mostly because of the cover and to this day it's one of my favorite series - just reread it this year for the first time in ages and still love it.

I was disappointed in how poorly I did on this (11 out of 15, but a couple of the ones I got were lucky 50/50 guesses), but in my defense, I have not taken a biology class in 30 years. On the positive side, I now have several bookmarks open to very interesting things I get to learn about.

Thanks for the idea. I haven't started looking at the starter packs yet; so far I've just been finding all the people I was following elsewhere, but I'll take a look through those next.

Thank you for this! I've been on Bluesky for one whole day and have been disappointed in the dearth of cat pictures so far. Now I feel like I am on the internet. 😆
