*wrinkles nose* This turn of phrase is even more graphic for those who have personal experience with “shelf toilets.”

I have some friends that ship an on-prem specialized database that uses a release train.

I want to learn more! Are there any websites or blogs about this kind of photography that you would recommend to a beginner?

Neat! The alt text says 125 hours. Does that mean the image is a composite of multiple nights exposure?

Alas, I was trying (and failed) to make a snarky joke that education today is worse (disrupted!) compared to the 80s/90s because of the addition of technology (particularly mobile phones) to classrooms.

Education has been radically disrupted and changed! It’s just wasn’t for the better. 🥺

“It depends.” You are awarded a +3 modifier when someone meets you in person and didn’t realize how tall you are. Also, I demand to see Mohawk photos.

I see three legal quirks enabling propaganda in the USA: news networks classify themselves as entertainment, DMCA safe harbor provisions permit social media networks to proliferate untruths, and Citizens United keeps the PAC money flowing. These supports need to be removed, but I’m not sure how.

Is there a safe/stable equilibrium point in between “Fox News is an entertainment product” and “ministry of truth”? It sees like “news networks suffer consequences for making claims that are demonstrably false” might be a reasonable start.

There are a lot of companies in Berlin that will sponsor. Not as many that will pay for moving expenses. I can share a list.

As soon as a commentator promotes core PCE as a valid inflation measure, you can easily see that they care more about “inflation that rich people experience” than “inflation that poor people experience”

While I agree that supply shocks lead to 2021-2 inflation, it also seems clear that the parabolic growth in M2 is also a contributor.
