"Our findings demonstrate that reasoning models improve not only the clarity, organization, and professionalism of legal work but also the depth and rigor of legal analysis itself." A lot of good dense stuff in the paper: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....

Careful- I once made enough of a nuisance of myself that the mayor put me on the city planning board.

I’ve always had eager swimmers, but I’ve had good luck with the Dahl’s advice on other things so: https://oakhillkennel.com/library/introbirds.html (geared towards hunting, you can probably skip the intro to birds stuff)

Well, see, it takes a while to get an invite, then once I got an invite the app was going through a bit of an Alf dick phase, and I didn't want to drop you into the middle of that. You're welcome.

I don't have any invites, but I just suggested Keith Carson to another Mainer with an invite burning a hole in his pocket.

After a re-listen, it's so obvious that the only possible explanation is that by two minutes into a Billy Joel song, my brain has completely disengaged.

I honestly have no idea. Now I have to go find some headphones so I can listen to it.

I've heard that song a zillion times, and I just had to google it to confirm those are actually the lyrics. How did I miss that?

Big oof. At least it was probably still needed when I developed that particular bit of muscle memory?

Wait, that thing where you find something cool and look up and it’s somehow dark out and you need to pee isn’t normal?

I don't know who the rainbow panda person is, but this made my brain go to mipsytipsy over on twitter - it seems like they'd be a great addition (I don't know them).

I love that some of the team are Very Online, and others don't seem to be on here at all. (hopefully that means they're getting more sleep than you).

Say goodbye to leetcode and hello to skeetcode.

This is the first explanation I’ve seen that makes any sense, so thanks!

blocks won’t be the only load-bearing moderation feature we’re adding though, so there will be ways to subscribe to lists that block people without showing you personally mean to block them https://blueskyweb.xyz/blog/4-21-2023-atproto-developer-ecosystem

Watching the team build this in real-time is giving me some FOMO. Then I think about how little sleep y’all must be getting…

Meant to say 10 yrs, but tbh 10 hours is probably a better metric

Kinda fun to think about what you’ll want to resurrect from here in 10 hrs though.

I'm an old guy, so I love having a web app on my computer, but at the same time, the idea of staging.anything pointing at the prod database gives me a little bit of heartburn.
