No revenues but at the same time people here are curtailing their purchases and investments, and other countries *are* collecting tariffs on U.S. imports. The worst of all worlds! Only a stable genius could have accomplished all this!!

It’s good to see that some Republicans have remembered that they have backbones. Will enough decide to defend the country and the constitution before it’s too late?

And now the Supreme Court has ruled that the deportations to El Salvador can continue. I’m afraid that none of us are safe.

And to be clear, the government's argument in the Abrego Garcia case would apply even if it sent someone, including a U.S. citizen, to a foreign prison intentionally and with full knowledge that it was violating the law in doing so.

You would think that, if the President intentionally and knowingly expelled a US citizen to a foreign torture prison, they would face criminal liability for doing so. SCOTUS: you would probably be wrong!

We often look back on the seminal moments in our history and wonder "What would I have done?" This is our moment. This is our time. We must stand up. We must speak out. We must do everything we can to stop a President who has every intention of destroying our democracy.

It's true and its so awful.

Some of you may die!

🇺🇲

every person involved in this needs to be in prison

I wouldn’t count on that DOGErefund.

Tell everyone in Wisconsin

This Paul Weiss capitulation is the most disgraceful action by a major law firm in my lifetime, so appalling that I couldn’t believe it at first. Any lawyers at that firm—partners or associates—who don’t promptly resign will defile their moral and professional reputations beyond repair.

Mario, how do you look at yourself in the mirror anymore. You sold your soul for a cabinet position.

He doesn’t care about you!

Serbia says, “Hey U.S.A., this is how it’s done”!

The fact that we’re all looking backwards should tell us that there isn’t anyone in front of us leading.

The funding fight was a rare moment where Democrats had leverage to demand concessions from Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Republicans in Congress. This moment demands strong leadership, and while most Democrats in the House and Senate showed up, others failed that test today.

Get @schumer.senate.gov Out as leader Rules for the Senate Dems to remove leaders, for those that are bored: Just 10 members (20% of the Senate Dem Conference) can call for a meeting of the conference to vote on whether and who shall replace Schumer as Conference Chair and Democratic Leader.

Our list of who to primary

Democrats just got absolutely and completely rolled. Never once in my time in congress did we ever give up like this

My God. This is terrible

Just swiped this off Twitter. Solid Snark. Punches up, mocks abuses of power, and has some cleverness.

It would be great if Dems would listen to advocates the next time they are looking to pass bills that will enable authoritarians. There has been so much willfull ignorance and wishful thinking over the last 24 years post-9/11.

I’ve compared prices and he is right-cost plus drugs has excellent prices

Schumer is trying to justify his vote on Jake Tapper right now, saying if they had let the government shut down "they could fire half the workers in the federal government." WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY'RE DOING RIGHT NOW CHUCK

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Today was a bad day for our country – and for the Democratic Party. Let's talk about it. open.substack.com/pub/schiffno...

I also want to reiterate that it took every single Democratic Senator to agree to this deal. A single Democratic Senator could have denied unanimous consent, pushed this into Monday, allowed more time for the discontent to fester. Every Senate Democrat is complicit. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...
