OMG yes! John Fetterman has been the biggest disappointment! What the hell happened when he ran as this hard core progressive? I bet his vision board is just a picture of Tulsi Gabbard.

As someone who isn't a lawyer I honestly have no idea what the difference is between those two things can anyone explain this to me in English? 😂

Move fast and break things is a fantastic philosophy when you're in the tech industry and you have gobs of money from investors. Big risk big reward. It's a terrible philosophy when you're running the government and breaking things could literally destroy people's lives.

I first saw this without sound and had no idea what was going on but was just like man that girl is real intense.

How do you add yourself to a starter pack I didn't know that was a thing?

Definitely agree. I know there's a lot of anger going around but if someone voted for Donald Trump and eventually regrets it I think we need to be there with love and acceptance because that's how you get people on your side, not with I told you sos and mocking.

Do you know if there's actually video of this? Cause all I've seen so far is very vague written accounts of the incident and I'm not really willing to take a position one way or the other without more information.

Geez 😬 if the right wing has lost the New York Post you know you've got a problem.

I could not possibly disagree more. If you talk to real Trump voters they are not okay with losing their healthcare or the economic damage that's coming but they voted for Trump because they were misled to believe that none of that was going to happen.

I disagree I think putting off elections for any reason is anti democratic BUT if Ukraine's laws allow it and he's not breaking any sort of norms or rules then I DEFINITELY don't think it makes him a dictator.

Cannot love this enough 🤣

Yeah what the hell is going on with Steve Bannon all of a sudden he's saying a ton of stuff I actually agree with. He called out Musk and said DOGE was "ludicrous" and was calling for them to cut the Pentagon budget. Like WTF when did Bannon go progressive 😂😂😂
comment in response to

Wow that's bad... Hakeem "there's nothing we can do" Jeffries really needs to step aside and let someone else lead this thing

I mean if they wanna cut the Pentagon that's like the one thing I'm totally here for

Nah it can't be that. That would require him to actually raise any of his children and we know he's not doing that

Well I mean ... Id isolate it and scan it for viruses first but then yeah sure!

It's insane that they spent 46 billion and couldn't come up with something better than "Metaverse".

It's not open to interpretation. Either words mean something or they don't. "Displayed for educational purposes" is different from "I can just fly a Nazi flag outside my school classroom to show my support for fascism" and this headline clearly implies the latter.

I don't know a lot about him or live in his district (anymore). I know he's a horrible person I know he's super homophobic. But again not relevant. Either the bill says you can fly a Nazi flag or it doesn't and it doesn't. It's still an awful awful bill but don't lie about what it says.
comment in response to
post
The bill says they are allowed in classrooms for educational purposes. It does not say that you can fly a Nazi flag at a school. There is a massive difference. I'm 100% on board with banning Nazi flags just like you but that doesn't change what the bill says or does.
comment in response to
post
Oh my God. You people make me want to scream. Please re-read my comment because I do not know how to explain this any clearer. Anywhere in my comment did I say Nazi flags should be allowed? No. You know why? Because that's not relevant to my point! My point is this headline/meme is misleading.
comment in response to
post
I agree with you there's no need to have a Nazi flag for educational purposes. I agree it's bigoted to ban pride flags but that's not the point. The point is we should be honest about what's happening. When they do something that's already bad you don't need to lie in order to make it sound worse.
comment in response to
post
That's completely beside the point. This isn't a discussion of does it make sense to have Nazi flags in classrooms. It's a discussion of what does this bill actually do and this headline paints a picture like it's not just okay fly a Nazi flag outside a school or classroom and that's not the case.
comment in response to
post
This post is implying that they're allowing you to just fly a Nazi flag at a school. But that's not true it just says the flags are allowed on school grounds for use for educational purposes. That is a huge distinction. Yes it's bigotry but that doesn't make it right to lie about what the bill does.
comment in response to
post
Well good news it's not. It literally says in the bill that it can be used for educational purposes and that's it.
comment in response to
post
Okay I hate that they're banning the pride flag but this is a really deceptive meme. The bill doesn't say you can just like fly a Nazi flag it says that Nazi flags would be allowed specifically for educational purposes. That's very different than just flying one for the sake of supporting Nazism.

I like open workds but like make the main story only 8-20 hours long. Nothing makes me hate an open world more than never getting to experience it because I spent so much time on the main story that by the time I finished I was soooo sick of the game. Looking at you AC Valhalla

That was definitely meant to say "if Americans liked listening to intelligent speakers we WOULDN'T have elected Trump" you probably figured that out from context but I just wanted to clarify
comment in response to
post
I'm pretty sure this post was meant to be aimed at Dems in Congress not Dems in general. Cause yeah sure democratic voters are organizing but the Dems in Congress aren't doing Jack shit. Jeffries literally came out the other day and basically said "What do you want us to do? We can't do anything."
comment in response to

I do too actually and I think he's clearly a very smart guy. But if Americans like listening to intelligent speakers we would have elected Trump. You don't need someone smart out there you need someone exciting or people just aren't going to listen.

Sounds great but how about not Pete Buttigieg. I got nothing against the guy but he's about as interesting as a hard boiled egg. Get someone dynamic and powerful who can get a message out there. Someone people will actually tune in to watch. Hell get John Stewart up there!

Enough with the conspiracy theory garbage. Trump won because Kamala ran a terrible campaign while Trump focused on issues people cared about like the economy and the cost of groceries. Trump is awful but there's absolutely 0 evidence he cheated. Democrats just suck.

Tulsi Gabbard has never had any real principles. She pretended to be a progressive until she realized it wasn't convenient to do so and there was more money in sucking up to power.
