As a resident of New Hampshire, I wouldn't particularly mind that map

Exactly. I live in NH and still only have seen a couple of those brands in my stores...

Alas, only a smattering of those exist in my neck of the woods

I made it a point to follow a bunch of authors, musicians and artists that I like or look interesting. Lots of physics/astronomy stuff too. I still see quite a bit of political stuff, but I also get to see cats 😉 It is good to see more people I actually know coming over though

I really enjoyed the interactions with the cats in Starter Villain

I have very much enjoyed her readings of your books. Sometimes find myself reading the print versions with her voice in my head.

I started Another Time, Another Place last night. Also about halfway through Dark of the Moon by John Sandford

I learned it the summer of 1994 to put my college newspaper online. Kept up my skills later on to provide family with pictures of our kids before social media made it so much easier.

I'm thankful for goodreads to help me avoid doing exactly this

I'm in my local library about once a week. I haven't had to show my card in forever because all the librarians know me by sight. Love the fact that I can get print, cds, dvds, audiobooks and ebooks and take advantage of all of them. They've also never said no to a purchase suggestion.

I left NY 17 years ago to move to NH. Just this year we got a bagel shop run by a couple of guys from Brooklyn. It's like being home again...

It's definitely Nubble. Looks like it was taken from the beach adjacent to Rt-1A.

Well, I couldn't find an optical image of that particular galaxy but it is a spiral somewhat similar to Andromeda. Here is a picture taken through a telescope of the night sky including Andromeda as an example.

2/If you could see in the infrared range, you would probably see "something" that looked like that but not necessarily in the colors that you see here. I welcome any amplifications or corrections as needed.

1/My best attempt would be to say that Webb doesn't actually send images, but infrared readings in many different channels. That data can be converted to an image and depending on which channels you highlight and what colors you use to represent them, the image resolves to what you see.

I couldn't even tell you how many times I've seen it and I got sucked into it again last night as well. 30 years ago, the final credit song was the first dance at our wedding.

Sinclair Lewis saw the possibilities of this situation in 1935... It is frightening how many parallels exist between his book "It Can't Happen Here" and present day
