We in NY are sick of our Rep avoiding us. We’re planning a town hall and will carry on with Q&A whether he shows up or not. If he doesn’t show, we’ll have an empty chair at the front and read answers we write based on his record. We’ll be live streaming it on FB. They forget they work for us.

Blow up his phone and email with calls instead. I always let my union leaders know when they do not represent my views. So imperative!

I called and spoke to Rep Lawler's office last Friday. Call again today and got a voice mail box and left a message. Called Sen Schumer and got the vm and left a message. These people work for us, damn it.

Those people need to have some serious consequences for participating in a breach of our capital, an insurrection and an attack on Capital Police. It seems it's now left up to each state or business to administer justice. Thank you.

Illinois has a statute called 20 ILCS 415/8b.4 that rejects prospective employees who engaged in infamous or disgraceful conduct and Gov Pritzker is using it to prevent Jan 6 participants from employment in their state. Do we have anything like this in NYS?

Trying to hold onto hope for my grandchllren, for my country. Just read this which frightens me more from trumpFile -a resource tracking long-term immorality, lawbreaking, and corruption by Donald Trump and his allies -at home, overseas, and in Congress. trumpfile.org/opm-whistleb...

"Imagine if a Democratic president did this" should be a constant catch phrase now.

It's so important to do this to get a glimpse of their lives and generation that we will never truly understand because we're not living it. Some of our own classics that we want to share with them have not aged well as far as being applicable to today's kids as they were to us.

Haha, I learned to ride on a knobby-tire Honda 250cc dirt bike and went straight to the 650. Used to ride it to work to teach third grade in Tucson and would take my little ones out to the parking lot to do Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance discussions.

Our daughter is a Mainer too, her hubby tried to propose at Katahdin but she had a panic attack at the top, so he waited until they were safely in a canoe the next day, lol.
