Electoral Democracies usually fail -- Only 8 are over 100 years old (CAN, FIN, ISL, IRL, NZL, SWE, GBR, USA).
We just *knowingly* elected an Authoritarian.

The bunkers in Virginia-class submarines hold over 60 tons of fuel. (20,000 gallons / 75,000 liters). It's used exclusively for an auxiliary generator that produces over 1 megawatt.

Each Virginia-class has a huge 52-liter turbocharged diesel that powers a 1.1 Megawatt auxiliary generator.
They deployed around 27 December from Submarine Base New London, so it's plausible they need a top-off.
I'm surprised they're not getting fuel from an in-fleet oiler, or trusted-ally ship.

That's where I high-centered -- My openssl-created Certificate Authorities aren't recognized.
I'll continue to forage for exemple code & keep an eye on your GitHub.
